Not even. Karl literally showed up in Apollo's comments section on the apology/announcement video and said he'd carry the torch for him. At that point, he should have carried the shovel to dig Apollo's grave.

Karl was just some guy. I wish I had a link to Apollo's apology video, because Karl was the pinned comment at one point. Karl involved himself, and there was no reason for him to do so.

Convincing someone they know all they need to is the easiest way to get away with something. Think about it - someone has a history of lying, another at the moment doesn't.
