Until a friend let me swipe on her bumble(large American metro area) I didn't understand how bad it was. The profiles were either cringe or felt like they all had mass produced in the same factory. I had to stop because I felt physical fatigue, probably from all the profiles blending together. It sucks the apps force you to try and show off your entire personality into six photos, three prompts, and a video/audio clip.
It's a fun game to go through and laugh at profiles but it eats away at your soul if you do it too often.

This is just how it is on apps in general, for men or women. Most profiles are carbon copies of one another, and those that aren't often don't set themselves apart in a positive way. The only reason the match rate for women is so high is because men have no standards.
