China must have threatened to release covid 3. Trump seems really scared?
With DOGE, a good number of industries were deprived of billions of dollars which they had counted on to sustain their business model. However, as angry as that might make them, there's a limit to how mad you can be that you aren't allowed to rip people off and get free money subsidies. Scammers whose scam dries up will move on, because they know that they were getting over, and it wasn't going to be forever.

But with the tariffs, a lot of these businesses thought they were doing the right thing. For decades, outsourcing was encouraged. In fact it was part of a strategy to "westernize" east Asia. So fleecing trillion dollar industries an unsurvivable amount of money, when they were just doing what the previous guys wanted, that's a true affront that's going to get some righteous resistance. I could see some very rich and capable people suddenly caring less and less about consequences in that situation.

Hey who was bitching about how awesome homosexual China was for its REEEEEEs (rare earth elements but with extra Asian homosexuality)?

They forgot to mention that we’re the Congo’s new best friends, and in position to develop what is claimed to be $10 trillion of mineral wealth in partnership with them

Remember empire of dust? Having never dealt with the aftermath of large scale slavery, chinks never learned how to talk with black people in ways that don’t insult them.

Jk, I mean empire of dust was real, but Africans hate the Chinese because the belt and road initiative was a ripoff

Editing to add for the slow folks, China’s control over REEs isn’t based on them being IN China, it was based on deals in Africa from the belt and road initiative. So this doesn’t just add to our column; it also subtracts from theirs

Yeah, it sure is embarrassing how he suspended all tariffs on China.
Oh. What's that? The 145% tariffs are still in effect for all other Chinese products that make up a vast majority of their exports? And electronic tariffs are still at 20%? And the $500B Apple investment outpaces a 145% tariff on electronics since China actually only does assembly rather than manufacturing?
Never mind that. It's all just Trump accidentally looking like he's mapping strategically.
So that's it? Trump reducing tarrifs on 1 thing is causing people to doom post? God that's pathetic.

"I could be the tenth person to say roughly the same thing on a liberal show, or I could literally be the first time somebody heard a certain idea if I’m in a more conservative space," he added, noting the party should be reaching out to people who are "not always looking for politics."
This would be a good thought except mainstream Democrats haven't had to seriously contest their ideas with people on the right in decades. People like Charlie Kirk spent years sharpening the presentation of their ideas and thoughts by duking it out on left wing platforms, campuses, shows, etc. The left has only ever had to fight with people further to the left. It's going to take years for their best and brightest to even whet their blades, much less strike deeply.
I've followed his podcast via YouTube, Spotify, and RSS for years and while I don't listen to every episode, Rogan is never one to outright denigrate perceived wrongthink. If anything, he's open to giving people a voice and openly fact-checking them by having Jamie look shit up on the fly.
Rogan also can do something that the left can't—approach non-political topics without patently trying to transform the topic into supporting the Democrats politically. I can listen to Rogan talk about mushrooms, hunting, sports, history, etc. without politics ever popping up in the discussion. The left literally does not know how to do this. Every single topic is either subtly or ham-fistedly (usually the latter) turned into a pro-left advocacy hour. Until they realize that the best advocates are normal, credible people who are not always trying to get you to vote in a certain way, they'll never win over the platform.

That's one of the reasons why alternative media has always been heavily conservative. Talk radio was filled with people who were artificially shut out of mainstream platforms by the institutional left. The Internet and podcasts are that way, too (or were more so in the past, until YouTube and co. began obviously and openly manipulating how content appeared to suppress anyone on the right). They don't seem to understand that there's no reason for a left wing Rogan to succeed when that hypothetical audience would get their fill just by turning on literally any major news channel, talk show, comedy show, etc. There's no niche to fill. It's so obvious but they don't seem to ever understand it.

Ok chucklefuck ill bite what should trump do? What should we do, go back to funding gay shit in other countries? We should've let Kamala Harris win because nothing matters am I right. Shut the fuck up you miserable chink dick sucking whore. I do not give a shit what the “global stage” says about this country because they are nothing but a bunch of leeches.

>Centrist minded
>got to be a better way than hating each other

He literally spearheaded the "dark" framing during 2016 that was a paid manipulation trick and spent multiple entire shows calling Trump a Nazi. Also, he's not Centrist, Bill Maher is a bishop for fedora wearing idiots who think they're too smart to fall for religion. He rails against "woke" but still tells people to vote for the ideology that's enabling the woke assholes. He rants about Muslims but is literally paid by the party saying we have to bring in infinity numbers of them.

Hell, HE was the one that had noted uniparty mole Ann Coulter on to sell the idea of Trump as a candidate when we KNOW that Clinton was paying people as part of the pied piper strategy.

I guess the word got out: Play nice with Trump for now.
Actually Bill is Malcolm McDowell in Star Trek Generations wanting desperately to get back into the Nexus and has increasingly become black pilled by the left refusing to do so, especially after Trump getting reelected cemented the idea in the mind of Maher that the left would soon as burn everything to the ground than stage a strategic retreat...

That said, you'll know the order to lay off Trump came down when Oliver and Colbert are either fired or forced into an extended struggle session on their shows where they are forced to endure psychological torture as part of their renouncement of their anti-Trump bullshit. Which isn't happening anytime soon sadly since Colbert is openly crying that the Deep State had its balls cut off by Musk so it could not stop the tariff war and Oliver spending several shows calling for lefties to stalk and engage in violent harassment of Trump administration people and GOP politicians and spending an entire show shitting on Reilly Gaines for daring to speak out against trannies/attacking JK Rowlings for calling out Oliver as a liar and his assortment of lies when he did a previous show white knighting trannies.

doom scrolling on tik tok or some other app
Fucking everywhere and they don't have the common decency to use headphones. The 14 hour train ride from Hanoi to Hue was just a cacophony of gook tiktok shit, the only reprieve being by the smoking window and in the dining car (occupied almost solely by rail employees). Good coffee and Banh Mi though.

This is the most generic, liberal, reddit comment, bot ass sentence I've ever seen outside of Reddit. Please consider restructuring your sentences and using different synonyms so you sound like a human being.

We have seen the rest of the world unabashed by actions horrific and evil. I'd rather be embarrassed doing the right thing, thanks.

So for context yesterday the senate passed a bill that would require proof of citizenship to vote, now it should be noted that other countries notalbly more liberal countries have similar laws like this, the reason why this law was passed was as a way to Comabt illegal immigrants from influencing votes.

But for some reason old massive massive descides to “urm akshully” thing by saying the most restarted thing he's said in about a month. The only reason why I think someone like him being against this is purely out of spiteful contrasinism.

Is this bait or shilling? It's almost a verbatim CNN party line...
The idea of "embarassing oneself on the global stage" doesn't parse to the American Right because the American Right wants to act either as hegemon or as an isolated state, neither of which really needs to care about its perceived image.
The left only really cares about this because they project their own ideas of themselves onto the US as a nation, and because their chattering class is mostly composed of physically weak men and females, they're petrified of violating the consensus. At the same time though, it still shouldn't mean that much to them except as an insult to the establishment, given how embarrassing their own conduct already is/has been. They're really more interested in rolling onto their back and showing submission to the rest of the world, because it's how they survive in life.

In fact the only people who I can think of who would actually give a serious fuck about "embarrassing themselves to the rest of the world" would be the Chinese, given they're not wired for defiance (the genes commonly associated with defiance/personal rebellion/disobeying authority are completely absent in pureblooded/coastal han chinese as rice farming is so labor intensive that without a community to support them people would usually starve, so being shunned was essentially a death sentence and culled defiant/agentic people). For a similar reason, the Chinese carry a moral culture which places the negative aspect of shame as high as or higher than guilt, which is why censorship and coverups are seen as acceptable there.

Are you a Chinese shill, Joey? Are you looking at your screen through your round eyeglasses and no peripheral vision in your tiny apartment? Is it a new build? I'd make sure the floor is level.

White people's sense of shame has been turned into a weapon against them by people with no concept of shame. To move forward we need to acknowledge that, and recognize that just because they don't feel shame they do not have the right to our homes and inheritance from our ancestors.
