Totally fair and justified. I'd love to see what the PSI says. I would love to see that be Nick's sentence.

If I am being pessimistic, I would bet that the judge chooses some middle ground towards the prosecution and gives like 3 years probation with no jail time.

If my partner wrote such a lukewarm letter to a judge about me, I would be thoroughly embarrassed. Kayla does not even deign to say that she loves Nick. The only good things that she can highlight to the judge are the Nick drives and cooks for the children.

Yeah, I'm gonna be a bit of a "negative Nancy" here too and predict the judge won't jail him.

Maybe the community service.

He should absolutely get more than 12 months probation though.

THAT WAY, I will be pleasantly surprised on Friday if the judge goes harder, and I won't be disappointed unless the probation is 12 months or under.

Hope for the best, prep for the worst.
