Mega Rad Gun Thread

It's time for gun store bingo!

✅ No in store inventory online or online ship to store portal
✅ No information on online transfers
✅ Physical store is open weird hours or by appointment only
✅Call and they say they have one (it's a lie)
✅ Go into the store for the gun you're looking for and they don't have it
✅Old guy talks your head off with common knowledge and misconceptions. Thinks that you know nothing
✅Told you don't really want the gun you're shopping for anyway
✅"Well we can order it but it would be insane markup from MSRP or you can order it online and our transfer fee is $60. It'll take months if you order from us btw"

Yeah, I am just going to have to order it from some dealer on gun.deals to the cheapest transfer cost local shop. I don't have the fucking time to be calling around and driving to every single gun store to look for something that isn't some boutique special thing. I hate gun stores so much it's unreal.

:null: Woe iz me I am but a small bisness ownah. I can't compete wif dose big badguys. PWEASE PAY $500 FOR A $400 GUN. WHERE ELSE WILL YOU GET YOUR OVERPRICED AMMO AND MAGAZINES (we only carry Glock and Sig mags btw those are $60 for a p365 magazine)
at least you have a local store. I have to drive 60 miles for the closest place to do transfers. :(

My old local FLGS was the best. But I'm glad the old guy retired. He was in the game forever so let him enjoy his retirement. He always let me finger fuck things dig around ask dumb questions etc. He just liked seeing someone respect history and want to learn.

Stores like that in anything let alone guns are just a memory. Thinking back he was just respectful to everyone.

Are there any single-stack 9x19mm pistols (that aren't mainly intended as concealed carry pocket pistols)? I'm in this weird middle area where bigger calibers would kick more than I'd like and I think Glocks/Berettas are intended for bigger hands than mine.

The Browning Hi-Power or CZ-75 series should be fine for you, to be frank. People occasionally complain about the grip on those being on the smaller side.

That's exactly how Colt rested on its laurels and it came back to bite them in the ass eventually.
Colt was even monumentally retarded though, They axed almost the entirety of their civilian firearms except for 1911's. All the revolvers were cut. The revolver was THE Colt product. they damn near invented it. and it was cut because general keyes wanted to make more M4s.
The fact that SIG is going to ride this debacle all the way to Remington style bankruptcy is kinda funny.
I'm not sure they have a choice. if they admit fault they are mega fucked, because its pretty clear they know something is fucked up with the P320, just like Remington knew the M700 was dangerous. they'll be buried under liability pay outs. at least with their current course they have a chance, however small it may be, that they might get away with it.

Any Smith & Wesson auto with 39 in its model number is a single stack 9mm.
