My wife and I literally had a discussion about this yesterday regarding our toddler. My wife grew up never knowing how to cook because her mother made all her meals (she is an excellent cook now). I grew up cooking entire meals when I was 13. My mother worked evenings and my father worked overnight and I was tired of his cooking (which was boiling hot dogs and throwing frozen fries into the oven). I found I actually really enjoyed cooking and my mother encouraged it by buying me some nice cookbooks. My wife and I want our child, at a young age, to be active in the kitchen and learning those skills. Honestly, I think basic life skills such as cooking, laundry, balancing your bank account should be things we bring back to schools.

I find the idea of community service funnier because depending on what he's made to do, someone might find him doing his hours in public. It's just such a shame that cameras in this day and age remain bulky, unwieldy and nobody will ever be able to snap a picture of his dark cuck aura from a distance without being caught.
I'd like to have a little more hope for Nick's kid and assume that Nick is just telling the court that his own son is too incompetent to feed himself to save his own skin.
its just hilarious to me that they did that while also deciding to homeschool their kids. i know plenty of parents that think their kids suck, but guess what, school is 40+ hours a week, you can even make it 50+ hours a week if your school offers some form of after school activities. We had a "late bus" that dropped kids off at 5pm, so middle school and high school kids could stay after for tutoring or any other reason. Instead they decided to spend even more time around their kids than usual with their retarded set up.
i know everyone will go "i was taught to cook and my daddy's a great cook!" but if we're being honest most dads are at this level of cooking. boiling hot dogs or following the instructions on a box of hamburger helper or mac&cheese. At least from a certain generation.
part of why they moved up there was because it was a "small town where everyone knows each other" and most of Kayla's family lives there. You'd sort of expect that to be another reason to have their own kids going to school with everyone else instead of homeschooling like a cult, but oh well.
i'm calling bullshit on this too, even if they can't show proof because he's homeschooled we at least have something called the SAT that would prove it, or even the PSAT, you can even take the ASVAB at his age. also IIRC he did show up on the dean's list or whatever for the top kids in the county school but it could also be a bad county, baltimore county had kids who were both top of the class and had SAT scores in the 800s.

The kids are really lucky they have a church they love that loves them back, even if the church participants reporting their family doesn't feel like love. They might not understand it now, but I hope they do learn sometime in the future that their parents being fucking idiots is not their fault or responsibility.
