Gotta medical sperg for a second but it's possible that Karl has an eye condition called Nystagmus which is pretty common in albinos.

It's uncontrollable eye movements and it can make people look cross-eyed or super tweaked.

Reviewing some of Karl's videos, I've come to 2 conclusions.

1) Karl was inordinately jealous of someone having so much fame over a video game record, especially with it being most likely cheated. He veiled his attempt to slay the Mitchael dragon with integrity, without realizing that any level of double checking would lead to his sad state of seething bullshittery. This is also what lead to him most likely cheating on his own record with the crying and the wife and not pressing it for the record keeping sites, either way, these types of speedrunners want that perfect run and the Billy Mitchael fame that goes along with it more than they want to play the game, doubly so if they're actually good at it. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Karl is actually a prolific cheater, it's not unusual for cheaters to assist in "outing" other cheaters in order to protect themselves.

2) He's a midwit and autistic. He's probably 100 IQ flat and has no idea how to actually present himself and his arguments outside of a very strict script. If things go off script, you have autistic melt downs, as shown by his responses in Discord. Also lmfao using AI to """prove""" he was going to win, what an absolute dullard, the exact type of midwit that gets caught up in shiny newplusgood things/ideas and gets confused when they didn't work as intended.

Special Conclusion 3) He's a fucking commonwealth nigger. Anyone related to the Bri*ish are so unbearably faggoty that they can't help it.

For Karl it's just one of his eyelids rests at a different level than the other one. Not super noticeable in motion but in stills it pops out pretty badly. One other youtuber I've noticed with that is Donut Operator (and Karl's is significantly worse)

Are you sure? I disliked him because of this and to a far lesser extent his vexatious litigation, I can care less about his cheating. I am 100% sure that a significant amount of people believed so as well.

He didn't want to take accountability and this is a massive cope. He could have informed those drama grifters and various news outlets of the true nature of his lawsuit with Billy. He didn't do that.
Even if they didn't care AT ALL to issue a correction/retraction, he could have shown the judge that a good faith attempt was made in order to correct the record. This would have been strategically smart as well.
The smarter decision would have been to not hitch someone's suicide on a vexatious litigant over an off-handed Internet Tough Guy remark he made in 2018. The dumbest would be to shoehorn Donkey Kong cheating into a lawsuit to claim he can't be defamed because he's dishonest at video game scores.

So what? Billy was not mentioned at all.
Moreoever, did Billy Mitchell ever learn of the extent of Apollo's spine issues in 2018? Did any of us know until he offed himself?
There's even another angle Billy could have used. Apollo flew the idea of killing himself and blaming Billy for it. Did he, after actually killing himself? No.
Jobst knew of this conversation. Anyone with a brain would have realised the truth.

He made good videos, his editing and audio were decent. What was stopping him from getting a flexible video editor and audio wrangler job? There's plenty people with bad disabilities who hold real stable employment (I work with one). Apollo simply copped out of life. Out of respect, I didn't call him a coward at the time. Knowing how vindictive the speedrun troon cabal was to him though, the kill count is theirs. Just look at how troons treat critics with faces, from JRK to Caroline, to Null and others. You'll need a tough skull and/or loads of money to deal with those freaks. Ultimately, it was a sad story.

The speedrunner community has always needed some degree of mental illness to mentally be okay with doing the same thing over and over not for hours, not for days, but for months or even years. I get upset if I lose TEN minutes of progress in a video game and need to replay that sequence for fuck's sake. Point is, is it really a surprise that such a community is toxic as fuck? It shouldn't have been a surprise for Apollo Legend, and it's not a surprise that the likes of Jobst enter it and surround themselves with sycophants to the point where hinting at the wrong thing gets you banned from his hugbox.

I don't know much about Australian law but if he goes for an appeal he may have grounds to reduce the damages because 400k or whatever really is ridiculous considering Mitchell's reputation that the judge ruled as trustworthy for some reason. But Jobst was kidding himself if he thought he ever had a sure win over accusing someone of pushing a person into suicide, lmao. The best he could have hoped for was to minimize damages. It's like a poster earlier said, Jobst got so high on sniffing his own farts that he wanted to be the one to take down the big bad Mitchell dragon. This happens with people that get way too invested in their small communities to the point where they get tunnel vision and nothing else matters, also evidenced by how he kept posting in his Discord constantly when he should've been busy doing an apology video... which ended up being "I'm sorry that you THINK I did wrong". Dude's got no self-awareness. Or he does, but doesn't like what he sees, so he 'roleplays' as something greater since that's fairly common. Just not in a 40 year old dude, you're kinda supposed to have your life together at that age.

Either way, I'll be grabbing my popcorn to see what he'll do next while simultaneously glad I don't have such self-important people in my life.
