It was more retarded. He is picking on typographical errors:

Lets hope he goes on Youtube saying there are typographical errors and the judgement doesn't really means what the words say. The judge will appreciate that in 100 days when it's time to decide if he truly learned his lesson or not.

Probation is a lot more of a hassle than just not being able to do drugs or drink. There is unannounced home visits, random piss tests besides the scheduled ones, the police can search you, your house and your car at anytime without a warrant. He lives in a small town so his PO will know who he is. He won't be just a name on a list to check off. He'll get the personal treatment. Probation is it's own kind of hell. Especially for an entitled asshole like him.

So will his Probation Officer expect him to be gainfully employed? If so, would fucking around on social media count?

So could Nick just do the 30 days and get off without probation?

Or is it 30 days PLUS 5 years probation (30 days stayed if he doesn't fuck up til August).

In that case, does he not get sentenced until he fucks up probation? I thought they gave you the sentence and then probation meant you didn't do it.

It seems pretty clear that it's 5 years probation with 30 days jail but the jail can be waived if he's straight until August. He took a deal on a pretty serious crime and made the process a pain in the ass for the State. There's zero chance it's just three months probation which would effectively be the total punishment if the whole thing is waived.

30 days MAY be deferred if he's compliant with probation.

If he fucks up probation, that 30 days will happen, PLUS he can be violated which may result in him losing the stay of adjudication. I don't believe the latter is likely for a first violation.... but then again... he must have pissed everyone off.

My understanding is that if that stay of adjudication is revoked, he'll then get sentenced again for the underlying charge, which I believe would be according to the relevant sentencing guidelines, without going back to check, would be 21 months in prison, suspended.

Yes that's what I mean. The 5 years probation is a lock though, at least for the forseeable future. It could be reduced 2-3 years from now but no chance it's ending any time soon. Nobody thought there was even a chance he was going to jail so to claim this as a win would be hilarious.

Going on Youtube tonight for a victory lap is the stupidest move imaginable. Let's do it!

I wanna see that bodycam footage but I swear to God if it ends up being an EWS EWU (Explore With Us) release where I gotta deal with a fucking wolf head watermark floating around like a drunken Pac-Man I'm gonna blow my god-damn brains out.

ETA: Put wrong acronym initially, but you knew which one I was talking about.
Not to mention the over-dramatic (possibly AI-generated?) voice they throw over of every second of the damn footage. Guys like Nick are entertaining enough as-is, we don't need a Kizzume impersonator telling us that the detective is about to ask a question. Anyway I hope this 43 year-old frat bro has some sense knocked into him while he's in jail.

forgive me for skipping ahead but does this effect his ability to practice law?
Idk where it was posted originally but about 5 months ago he lost his authorization to practice per the state website.

"You don't understand, I outsmarted the Government! Instead of going to prison for 10 years for not taking my daughter to the ER when she nearly OD'ed on my coke stash, I only get 5 years probation! I win KiwiFags" :really:
He thinks he is smart when all he thinks about are Internet cool guy points that don’t exist. Internet cool guy points from rackin’ up dem W’s that don’t fuckin’ exist.
One small detail is different than the original order given by the judge.

He's crying about watermarks again.
All he has is watermarks. Nicker loves a watermark haha haha.

He's currently not authorized to practice because he's behind on his Continuing Legal Education requirements. Even so he could still be issued a short suspension, or some sort of official reprimand, but it's unlikely to be any more than that from this case, even if he fucks up his probation.

The only thing that could seriously impact his ability to practice is if charges do materialise in the Aaron hacking case, especially if he did, as alleged, access privileged communications between Aaron and his lawyer, in which case I could easily see a disbarment or at the very least a serious suspension.
