No but seriously is it actually fun?
Yeah I'm having loads of fun with it atm no dark souls dodge mechanic so dont know where that came from in the leaks, but the hits have weight, look good and the directional hits are noticeable, blocking is also changed and feels much better to use, actually feels like you've blocked a blow etc. Other thing I've noticed is I'm not staggered every hit so thats a +1 as well.
 
Okay so I've been checking out NymN's stream of the game and it's been hilarious. First time around he spent a fairly long time making his character, but then the game refused to save stating "Disk Drive Full Cannot Save" (or something of the sort), then as he was trying to mess around with his permissions to see if that's what was causing saving to fail, eventually the tutorial rats killed his ass while he was busy doing this and had no save to load. He moved his entire game folder to a different drive, now he can actually save the game. But guess what? The second go around, nearly the same amount of progress made, he realizes he can't load any of his saves and decides to try and load a save from the main menu. The game crashes and after opening it again, there are no saves. Now he's once again at the character creator.

Edit: Also want to mention, from the little gameplay I've seen, there are some atrocious levels of clipping going on. He was hovering a bone from the cell and items you hold seem to fully clip through objects.
Sounds more like a dent who shouldn't be allowed near the personal computer is playing the game rather than any fault of the developers tbh.

So people who are actually playing it are having fun those not playing it are the retards complaining about it online? Gotcha.
 
You have to level up acrobatics, dodging is in the game.
I know it was in the original as well I was more referring to the out of the box dodge people were talking about in the leaks.

Let me know if you guys want to see any of the screens, overall though, the combat is much better I'm having loads of fun playing it.

Check the old reliable Gamebryo commands (tcl, tgm, player.additem 00000001) and then see if the beta test cells are still around (coc EmilTest, coc CastleVaraldo and such)

What about magic? From the footage in the stream is looked like it's still playing as oblivion but want to confirm. Also underwater combat, jump attacks and did they add mounted combat?

Oblivion Khajiits just can't catch a break. Ugly in vanilla, plastic in OCO, ugly in remaster.

I'm still in the sewers lol just testing stuff for people here, magic is pretty much the same though. They added a spell to help you find your way out of the Bethesda dungeons which is nice.

do unreal cheats work? ghost is noclip, fly, walk to disable

Can confirm ghost works and lets you fly so imagine all the unreal cheats are there and they've specifically added in the gamebryo commands.

I'm pretty impressed so far. You're no longer looking at the potato-heads you remember from childhood — it's jarring at first, but you get over it quickly.
The animations are solid, especially the magic casting. I'm on the fence about the sprinting mechanic. It looks a bit ridiculous on the player character, but it does add a layer of challenge with how fast enemies can close the gap.
The environmental design update is easily the standout. No more "every structure more than 20 feet away looks like a blurry dildo."
The UI is an improvement, though it clearly was made by a soulless pajeet. It doesn’t follow the same visual language — maybe that’s a good thing, and I’m just being a salty bitch. I’ll see how I feel as I go.
