As far as Ian's intentions - I totally agree. He had this a air of arrogant apprehension the entire time, like he was always on his toes and looking for a way to subvert what Sam was doing. I honestly don't think any particular video was a straw that broke the camel's back that caused him to start changing. It seems more like it was just a gradual, soul-draining process that was caused by living with fucking Anisa Jomha for almost a decade. Staying with a woman that controls your life like that, which has been shown through pretty much all of their joint public appearances, is poisonous in a way that very few other dynamics can replicate; it's like living with dysfunctional parents, it will drain your soul slowly.
