There are two things that genuinely infuriate me on 8ch; one, the annoying splash page with the disclaimer every time you visit after closing the browser, and two, that a thread doesn't keep progress of where you left it once you close the tab. If you click on a long thread you were reading before, good fucking luck trying to pinpoint which was the last viewed post. Absolutely dogshit UI experience, and this seems to be a constant with many altchans; maybe a reason people don't usually migrate to those is related to that, you know?

The lack of progress saving is strange, but I cope with the agreement via the 8chan TOS userscript that's pinned on /v/. The real issue that I can see them actually addressing is the server speed. Loading speeds need to be much better, especially when the larger upload size is one of their main shticks.

They also made a conscious effort to discourage “wrongthink” and knew outrage engagement brought the site clicks and ad-revenue. Sure it was low effort bait but they could get bots and other retards and faggots to blow it out of proportion and now its a solid 6-18 months of spam discussion. In a semi-perfect world /v/ and most of 4chan would ignore AAA garbage but its impossible when the staff is manufacturing discussion and killing dissenting opinions.
