Steve Lightfoot talks about the communists infiltrating America and accuses the city council and the police chief of corruption and also being part of the Italian Mafia.


Steve talks about the super natural forces that protect him caused a storm that hit Monterey.


Steve compares himself to Jesus Christ and talks about how the meth-head woman he rented a driveway from for his van got hit by bad karma.


Steve talks about how everyone in Monterey is trying to stop him and talks about how Paul McCartney was punished by his avenging angel. He also gives a really brief overview of his conspiracy theory and talks about how he hasn't had sex since 1995.


Steve threatens to go to court because the council limited him to two minutes and talks about the JQ, calling Israel a white supremacist state and Jews white supremacists. He says Israel will fall like the Berlin Wall.


Steve exposes the mayor's homosexuality. He threatens to continue to expose the embarrassing facts about the mayor the every time he's cut down to two minutes.


He outs more homosexuals and talks about how California has too many homosexuals. He also serenades the council with a song about Kamala Harris.

Look I am not here to convince anyone of anything bro. I know people will never change their mind, I am a practical guy, at least I try my best to be. India has had a colonial hangover for the past 50-60 years which stopped it's growth and Since the previous governments had taken advantage of communal resentment amongst diff groups by pitting them against easch other, No progress happened. Instead it just led to a decline in every thing. Since the last two decades however I now see a patriotic unity(at least amongst hindpoos), I am not saying my country is perfect like it has major flaws but, It's still a developing nation and the actual development only started from the two previous decades. So it will takes it's time to return to it's former glory that the jeets always keep boasting about everywhere, Oldest religion saar and all that...

Games are luxuries, they are inherently valueless commodities except for what the customer derives from them. Like jewelry, or high dining, or art. The value of a game is entirely arbitrary, and decided upon by the consumer. With games, the value of a game at purchase is the perceived quality of the game by the customer.

Some people are willing to pay more or less for a luxury good. $60 is the customary price point for games, and what the majority of customers expect.

When video game prices rise, customers see it as an increase in the price of an item, without a commensurate increase in the value proposition. Games, especially AAA games have essentially reached their limit where the cost-value analysis from the perspective of both the producer and the consumer is not breaking even, which is what drives the increase in monetization and value extraction in dark patterns. AAA is too expensive to produce, and becoming too expensive to buy.

Smaller indie games avoid this to some extent by generally being smaller in scale, but are also produced much more infrequently due to lack of resources. Mid-cap games, like that of Capcom, From Software, and to an extent Nintendo, were able to maintain a level of success because of the production of games meeting an expectation of quality on a generally cheap basis. From Soft for example re-uses the same models, rigs, and shares engine code and design principles between all of their modern projects, essentially acting as an assembly line for quality games.

Nintendo, with the move to higher priced goods, is moving away from their previous brand position serving the family demographic to one that is serving a higher luxury/elite demographic. This demographics shift will probably kill the console industry in the long run, as we watched this pattern play out before with Xbox and Sony shifting to an elite luxury demo and failing because of it.

Tl;dr: The Switch 2 is as if McDonalds started serving high dining.

I think the increase in game and console prices while also the decrease in quality and ballooning file sizes are going to make triple A games increasingly unpopular and unfeasible. I'm hoping that smaller indie teams and developers who can make profits much easier than someone like a Ubisoft that has to get 500 million dollars just to break even on development costs can token over more and more of the market.

I at this point don't play triple A games and I haven't for awhile. The last one was probably Elden Ring

Also speaking of Gamer nonsense, Gamer supps the YouTuber drink powder company is facing threats of boycott and YouTubers letting their contracts lapse because a Vtuber has been saying based things and not loving tranny's. Kirsche or something. Either way the worst sorts of faggots are trying to push the company to distance themselves from her so she doesn't make money.

Lowering the price of your games would increase the number of people who would buy those games leading to a greater cultural impact and potentially a higher profit down the road. Over charging on games because you have a monopoly on the property is the pursuit of short term profits and will hurt the company in the long run.

Oh wait, you asked for the gaymer answer, not an economic one.

I'm not buying any more consoles because the games are just too expensive for me to justify doing so. The games they put out just aren't worth $90. I have a PC I built a decade ago that still works just fine so yoho yoho for the foreseeable future.

There's two things that are amazing about the games thing to me. One is how much money a dev like Ubisoft can spend on a game and come out with mediocre garbage that doesn't even look all that amazing. Especially when you compare their budget to indie devs who seem to come up with similar visuals and much better content for a fraction of the price. It really makes me wonder if major devs are just stealing money from the company by paying fake 3d artists or something.

The other one is how sticky game prices are. Theyve been in the $50-60 range since the 90s and that was waaaay more money back then.

Also, who the fuck wants a switch 2 anyway? The switch 1 had like 10 games that couldn't be better experienced on PC.

Because the cost of manufacturing games was far higher during that era because of cartridges. CD and DVD games dramatically reduced the manufacturing cost for video games. Now that we have digital distribution, there effectively is no manufacturing cost for video games. Coupled with how many full priced games have microtransactions, games should cost less than they did back then.

The publicized reason for high prices on games back in the day was the production of cartridges, CDs, shipping, basically a return on all the physical investment.
Once games went digital, the prices did not lower and in fact went up over time. Now Switch 2 games are at least partially digital with the cartridges holding the instance of the license you purchased to access the game(hence the ability to temporarily[up to 4 days] loan the license to a friend or share the game with a family member), so on top of guaranteeing that you do not own the game you now pay more for access.

Because when there's so much money and so many people involved, they want to be as safe and risk-averse as possible; while also leaving plenty of chances to monetize.

I wonder how much the same argument as for "why is mod content so high quality for free when the paid DLC from the real developers sucks" applies here: The indie dev can implement features and assets on a whim, on their own time, and leave it at that with no further oversight needed. Or even if there is "further oversight" it's more indie devs in a discord chat instead of some AAA corpo-committee.

If you have devs tirelessly working to implement features that get immediately shot down by higher ups and scrapped, you still paid everyone as full-time employees for all of that.
