Everytime we get these glimpses of the Balldo bunker I take psychic damage.
Same. The housecleaning issue is baffling. Ms Kays Services offers complete house cleaning in Spicer. It costs $270 for a house of Nick's size. So, let's assume he's afraid of his secrets (bank statements, sex toys, drug paraphernalia) being discovered. Undocumented Latino women (plenty in the area) would not report to authorities and do the work (often in teams) for half the price.
Better yet, all you need is one woman who is proficient in English and organizing with: "Hey, I have a special project. I need you for 3 hours, and together we will clear up all these clothes, sort by size, purge the crap, launder, and put everything back in the closets and drawers."
Two points on that:
- My suspicion that the kids' rooms are so full of clutter that there's no place to put clean clothes. Kids are notoriously bad at purging their stuff. That requires parentling. (This topic always makes me very MAK -MadAtKayla.)
- I seem to recall his dryer being broken. (He got a new one post-arrest, iirc.) This likely means that no laundry was done for months before the arrest. Gross.
they should keep it tucked away until Nick inevitably runs out of steam on the Karen Read snorestreams and tries to pivot to a new angle
Perhaps MNPR is waiting for an evening stream, famous for being more unhinged.
Or...Nick has promised to release clips of the bodycam. It would be funny if MNPR has more information in court records about the bodycam discoveries to counter whatever horseshit Nick tries to sell his audience without, say it with me, CONTEXT.
On that topic, it's a dangerous game. Showing clips of the bodycam will probably inspire backlash even from his fans. The Internet is chock-full of no-holds-barred body cam footage. I understand 'getting ahead of the story' but it's hard to imagine that this will go well for him.
Nick is popping pills on stream. 1:28:11 takes out unknown pill. ( but doesn't take it) he sets it down and acts nervous for a awhile trying to look casual af. Time passes to 1:34:13 he begins to stare at it rubbing his hands like a addict staring at a fix. 1:34:19 picks up the pill after staring at it. Pops it in his mouth at 1:34:31. Why be sneaky about talking a pill if its ok to take? Why take the pill out and not just take it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-oppNXi2gg. Great catch. This reminds me of Day 3 of the Read trial. He went off-screen for 3ish minutes and said it was "medicinal". It was a bit odd. I took that to mean he was giving Tylenol to a sick kid. Your timestamps for Day 4 indicate that he may have a schedule for his own meds. It looks to me like he was taking this pill ahead of schedule, which is why he waited but then gave in.
