Canada is a failed state

Alberta will secede within the next 3 years. This was the last gasp for federalism out here, and yet again, the election was over hours before our polling stations even closed.

Taxation without representation is tyranny.

I think Smith was saying 30% support with no actual movement yet is significant, but others say its not enough.

The longer the movement takes to build itself to 50%, the more millions of jeets and ching-chongs Ottawa can dump into Alberta to vote against it.

The Liberals know that it doesn't matter how Alberta votes federally, and they are deliberately strangling the oil industry to where there are no jobs open to justify shipping in immigrants.

Support for independence AFTER seeing the east give the west the finger yet again will probably be double this morning alone. A lot of people were of the "If Pierre Polievre wins, things could be fixed" mindset, and that just went up in smoke.

And Smith had better get off her ass about pulling Alberta out of the Transfer Fund, since we voted on that two years ago with no movement made yet, and people are fucking pissed about that.

The main thing to take away is that despite being given a chance to vote for a stronger Canada to actually ward off Trump, boomers are retarded and will only vote for the candidate that is sucked off on TV every night. Ik a bunch of family members that complain about how expensive everything is, yet their main issue somehow was orange man. Boomers cannot expect a country to continue to function when they have screwed over it's future generations because they want to keep housing out of reach of young people. Young people are pretty pissed off already, but a year or two more of smug boomers telling younger generations to "just work harder" for a a system that is rigged against people 30 and under will have the effect of only adding to the fire. The dream of Canada as just "America lite" is gone and I suspect more people will simply give up on believing this notion. Would be funny to see provinces separate a d have boomers trying to figure out why people don't want to live in Canada anymore.

Boomers living in the GTA have fucked over the rest of this country.

I hope they lose everything; their house, their families and are stuck in nursing homes employed by the same cone heads that they mass import.

This is exactly why people who receive government benefits should be banned from voting.

The outlying GTA suburbs all went Blue. Even Kitchener-Waterloo flipped Blue same as Windsor (which usually goes NDP)

It'll be a big day for seething, myself included.

But keep in mind no one, absolutely no one is seething harder than Justin Trudeau right now.

Could have just held on that extra little bit and now has to watch the guy who gave him all the advice that got him booted become anointed the new WEF fairy queen of Canada.
I've heard a rumor that Carney intends to make a special position just for Trudeau where he will play a similar role as when he was PM. I don't remember where I saw that rumor though but I wouldn't bet on Trudeau seething away.

The thing is, it's 30% without having a plan or any discussion of the potential concerns, with many people assuming the worse. If we had a plan which addressed concerns about things like how trade and healthcare and government services will be handled, that 30% may double or more.

If only Hamilton could've followed suit instead of going full throttle on the retard panic button and placing the future of the city's economy in the hands of Islam Rana and his plan to 'invest in muh creative arts'

Less than 7% away from blue man, and less than 7% to probably irreparably fuck this city's future in ways the NDP could've only dreamed of

I hope you get gang ra-ACK

Why does every canuck I stumble across the 'net almost always turn out to be intellectually disabled in one way or another?

In all seriousness though;
Alberta will secede within the next 3 years.
What about other parts of interior Canada, like Saskatchewan, Yukon, NW Territories? I know next to noone lives there, but what about it's natural resources? Sold to chinks and jeets?

The CPC ran a bad campaign and couldn't pivot effectively when they needed to the most. The loss is entirely on them and their poor messaging that didn't resonate with voters.

It was easy to ride on a wave of anti-Trudeau sentiment while he was still in office, but they were entirely aimless after he left and they never properly addressed the "Trump issue". It's as if they had no idea how to appeal to Canadians beyond "vote out Trudeau".

It's a humiliating loss for Pierre and the CPC and nothing less.

As an Albertan, fuck 'em. They don't have the same drive to independence that we do.

She hasn’t even cleaned up AHS yet, let alone implemented any firewall policies.

It’s not going to be easy, but the feds are going to apply enough pain to western Canada to make it worthwhile anyways.

Decades of the media in this country painting anything to the right of the Liberals as extremist scared the impressionable idiots of the east and the boomers into not voting against the libs no matter what.

How are you supposed to deliver a message when the media outright refuses to broadcast it? The MSM memory-holed Carney all but fellating CCP officials on camera, the cognitive dissonance being projected to the electorate is effectively insurmountable at this point.

They've managed to expand into the GTA and Vancouver albeit not enough,

I would argue that they would've done much worse and we would be in a Liberal Majority had Pierre fully leaned into the TDS angle.

The media of this country overwhelmingly endorsed the CPC with only a few notable exceptions. Additionally only a few months ago Canadians were fully prepared to hand the CPC a majority government.

Don't deflect blame, the CPC fucked up their campaign. If they wish to win next time they need to learn some very hard lessons from this failure.
