Nick used to be a nexus of a lot of online communities and gained broad appeal by association with them all. Nick was the Panama Canal or motorway interchange of multiple online spheres--a handy shortcut to get where you are going, but Nick came the believe that it was HIM that was the attraction. No one vacations on the motorway or the Panama Canal, but you can collect a lot of tolls. Nick could not be satisfied with that.

So I decided to rewatch the PPP vs Nick and Dick stream and one thing that really stuck out to me is how smug and arrogant Nick is. This is before he was deep into his drug spiral. He just has to keep getting in jabs about how he has the bigger stream, it's his stream so PPP has to obey his commands. You can tell the ego and narcissism was always there, under the surface. The drugs just emboldened him to be open about it and eventually softened his brain so he doesn't know how to hide it anymore.

I don't think it emboldened him. He just recoiled after everyone stopped fellating him one by one.

The fact that he lived in Pennnsylvania is neither here nor there. If anything, it would put cgoody closer to the big distribution centres. It was always the case that the closer you are to New York, the cheaper the cocaine is and the better the quality.

That said, I'd missed any previous discussion of the subject, somehow. But I recall the occasional offer and request in Locals. Very subtle. Very brief. Rapidly shut down. I don't recall whether cgoody was involved though.
