My brother in Akatosh how many times are you going to come to a thread and post something that has already been posted because you don't read the fucking thread. I've lost count!
Oblivion Remake Deragement
Lol someone made a thread like that? Make shitting on the Remastard associate you with utter clowns. Everything is a grift...
INCREDIBLY pissy if someone uploads a cleaned, independent version of that mod.
He got banned of Reddit because of how much of a sperg he is. He got mods that do anything remotely similar to his mod banned off all platforms. Somehow he even got a port of Ruasleep or something for consoles removed, God he's such a sniveling pussy.
I remember when he got pissy that somebody made a modpatch on his mod that made Oblivion gates possible to spawn anywhere to not include inside cities, because he thinks he has copyright.
Now THAT I have not heard of, how in the fuck does anyone like him?
Why even weigh in on this when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about? Didn't you get on someone for not knowing what the fuck they were talking about when it came to Oblivion earlier?
Brother he nearly pops a blood vessal when someone shits on the remaster, he had his time to clown on tourists that came in here when the thread was featured but now he's returning to the brainless consoomery from earlier.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone like him. I even see comments on Nexus making fun of him I just think they tolerate USLEEP/USSEP because a few mods depend on it.
Mmh, fair enough. I don't read many comments on Nexus unless I have an issue with a mod or want to check bugs but I've seen people work his shaft, could just be selective reading.
If Skyblivion is never coming out then explain this exclusive game footage I have. Check and mate.

Even while blurry I knew what it was a video off, I sure hope there isn't a hell because I'm headed right for it.
Man the latest Tamriel Rebuilt stuff is so good, anyone else been enjoying the one true Elder Scrolls game?
I was going to play some games in my backlog but then it dropped, guess there's always next year.
there goes my interest, gone, reduced to atoms.
God fucking damn it. UE5 and it's consequences have been a disaster to gaming. Well for anyone who isn't a graphicsfag.
>They forgot to make the Blackwood armor Black
Holy nigger on a bike, how do you fuck that up? I can understand not having the other details, this is modern Bethesda after all, (I'm blind, I missed the insignia on the armor) but how do you not know how to do a simple retexture?

For some perspective here are the completed and WIP areas as of 2025.

Ive never heard of Styros Mkai being worked on since Redguard. Also I dont want this to be misleading to a layman who sees this photo, the only real areas that have been developed are in Morrowind. Project Tamriel and Skyrim Home of the Nords have made some good progress but they have no where near the support or capabilities ass the TR team

Mate Anvil might not be complete but it's still got a ton of quest content. Certainly not compared to all the work done on Morrowind but that's misleading in and of itself.

This is one thing that absolutely pisses me off about Skyrim. I have no idea what happened to the quest designers who worked on Oblivion, because they sure as hell didn't touch Skyrim. Every guild is a direct downgrade gameplay-wise, for fuck's sake like 3 of the quests in the companions are radiant. The only exception would be the Daedric quests and even then those are hit or miss.
A lot of the same people who worked on Oblivion worked on Skyrim's quests. The problem is Emil became the lead writer/quest designer and he demonstrably should not be in a leadership position. Bethesda needs a proper tard wrangler that can set everyone straight and make sure everyone is on the same page. Which reminds me, another reason I have no hope for TESVI is that almost all of the senior staff left during starfield's development, and guys like Will Shen say it's basically because Bethesda has gotten too big and it's become a difficult place to work for as a result. Both in terms of mismanagement and because it's become more a corporate, more impersonal place to work. Multiple senior staff have mentioned it became difficult to even get in touch with Todd.

Sometimes I remember what modding used to be like and feel both nostalgia and dread
the worst part in all of this is that you can find weird ass goofy mods but you need to look in alot of places though because faggotry speaks louder than passion and with microsoft wanting to monetize mods things will become even gayer since they will avoid steam workshop like the plague.

Emil definitely should not be the Main/Lead writer for a Bethesda open world game. He was the Main/Lead writer for Fallout 4, I remember in Joseph Anderson's "Fallout 4 One Year Later" critique, him talking about how most of Fallout 4's side quests could be summarized in one sentence and most were as deep as that summary. Another problem is that a good amount of the quest ideas aren't coming from the writers but level designers, artists, and family members pitching an idea. Fallout 4 should also be a BIG wake up call for the decline in Bethesda writing. The really poor main quest for Fallout 4 and how the big side quests don't really matter are the main reason I never finished the game. In New Vegas the Main Quest is great and many of the side quest matter to the Mojave Wasteland.

One of the Main problems I have with the Elder scrolls games is the balancing of the games, Some are very easy to break. Hell I think the one of the main reasons for why Skyrim is the way it is is trying to make the 3 main styles of gameplay, Warrior, Rouge and Mage equally viable and fun ways to play the game.(even if it inevitably devolves into stealth archer). In Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion, Magic is king and THE best way to play the game. Magic in Daggerfall Is the best for every situation and avoiding Daggerfalls bullshit. In Morrowind its also really good and at bypassing annoyances like lockpicking. In Oblivion its the best way to kill things late game. The custom spell maker allows for some disgusting min-maxing of spells that allowed you to gook nuke every thing in the 3 games (but be careful in Morrowind random things have some reflect on them)

doublepost and 4 may joindate
welcome to the farms, nigga.

also FO4 goes harder on the consolemokey casualisation that bethesda was tossing themselves towards in that era after they tested the waters with skyrim because FO4 is shooty shooty things while skyrim was sword swing stuff and shooty shooty thing is always more console friendly, by the way most of the sidequests in NV are inconsequential to the world outside extra voice dialogue and don't affect the world at all, especially the last one unless you mod it up, it's a good thing or not? i don't really care since i'm not a fan but the flavor is there for anyone that enjoys it.
oh and skyrim was released during a gaming drought era and it was pretty much casual friendly unlike oblivion or worse, morrowind, with the oblivion remaster getting good numbers due to a myriad of reasons and the fallout3 remaster leaked to be released in future you can guess microsoft is banking on the remake culture even though it's kind of late-ish but what they are focusing on is extremely appropriate since these decade-old ip's don't work well with modern equipment while also keeping people interested on the studio after jeetfield shitting its breeches because it's clear bethesda learned with bugpunk77, i think they want to prop up people for TES6 since FO5 is said to be released at a much later date after TES releases.

one thing that irks me though is how these remakes do not bring back cut content that was axed because of technical limitations rather than game design and i have no one but myself to blame since these backyard development studios don't care about what they are doing, literal drones vying for a paycheck.
