How does he survive?

I have long suspected that he was moving dope, and the latest Colombia arc has made me no less suspicious. ChatGPT claims that it is common for Medellin criminals to be involved in nightlife and prostitution:



Was Ralph in Medellin partly to move drugs for Hunter or something? He frequently goes missing for longer than before (even if he seems more sober), tons of weird unexplained traveling where he doesn't even milk his journey for cash etc.

Thoughts?

I am open to being wrong, if anybody has arguments of substance for how Ralph *can* exist with making sooo little money, I'd love to hear them.

I agree, he probably averages $120/day 16 days/months. Deduct $800 for the prodigal son, $0 for the other kid he forgot existed, and $400 rent. That leaves him with around $720/month food, vice and travel money. While that is less than I pay for my boat slip every month, it is quite a bit for a shut in pill popper in Mexico.

What would be basic low rent in the USA ($1200) would cover all of Ralph’s monthly expenses in Mexico. (Rent, phone, food, drugs). I’d say Ralph’s biggest difficulty is trying to scrape together child support payments on top of his monthly living expenses. His truck is gone because couldn’t afford its upkeep and payments. (I figure he stopped payments a long time ago, but then couldn’t pay to get it fixed from all his Xanax driving. It wasn’t going to be able to be street legal anyway so he probably let a garage buy it for a few hundred bucks)

Him traveling and not e-begging for two weeks will definitely put the hurt on him. He is definitely hand to mouth now when it comes to income, he has burned through what reserves he had and has no credit. Giving the steep decline in his donos I doubt he could even get a decent stripe loan now, but he’s probably still trying to pay off one. When it comes to cartels not touching ralph with 10 foot pole, idk tbh. I would have assumed that they just don't care because they are so well positioned, and they can make Ralph behave by just threatening to kill the damn gunt.

I disagree, this is a nicer hotel than he stays at (I am too lazy to find it). The flight and a couple nights there with a hooker would eat up over half of his disposal income but he lives on cheap pills, cigarettes, and a $2 torta the other 28 days/month

i do not agree with mirna's statements about the cartels n ralph. He is the perfect mule. He is not there to make them rich with the amounts he smuggles, he is there to be the potential fall guy.
No one moves kilos of yayo through the border on a car. Thats just for the police to discover and thus keep the appearence of fighting drug cartels.

That was what he was doing with Dick Masterson and Merrie Jane. THeres a stream of his while still on Cozy, where he literally tells the audience that he travels with his 100 xanax prescripted bottle, that he was on xannies because of the aylogs, and he was gonna make a million dollars off of it.

Seems to me that the cartel muling came after his breakup with masterson.
