I'd like to point everyone's attention to this:


Notice how the AWACS points out the launch of a missile the moment it happens, this is vital as most radar-based missiles today don't turn on their radar lock until close range, giving the pilot very little time to react. If Indian fighter aircraft were getting downed, then it means either AWACS dropped the ball hard and didn't give a proper warning, or that the pilots did not heed the warning properly. This is dealing with missiles of far less capability than the PATRIOT systems in the video.

These guys would like an F-35 or SU-57 just as quickly as a MiG-21 if they can't pick up incoming missiles.

Remember, Chinese Maoists invented Three Worlds Theory during the Sino-Soviet Split specifically to demarcate themselves and several non-aligned countries (i.e. India and Pakistan) + much of Africa as the Third World, unlike the Soviet-controlled Second World, or the US/West European First World.

If I recall, it was Liu Shaoqi who came up with that model. Mao himself came up with an alternate though ironically less popular model that placed the US and USSR as the First World - they being the two global superpowers. All of Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, etc. were the Second World in his definition, as lesser but still capitalist-imperialist (or social-imperialist - Warsaw Pact) powers. According to Mao, India, Pakistan and other shitholes the like, including all of South America, are in the Second World. Then the Third World was again led by China and the very, very few other Chinese aligned ("really") socialist countries - specifically Albania under Enver Hoxha and a rotating cast of African states. To anyone unfamiliar, I hope it's not hard to see why Mao's convoluted version of Three Worlds Theory did not catch on the same way as Liu's much simpler, albeit more rigid, model had.

All this to say, not only did China fundamentally abandon the Three Worlds doctrine they were following in 1978, but with the dissolution of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact, Three Worlds Theory has lost all meaning as a measure of global geopolitics by even the most hardliner Chinese standards. I have most sympathy for the Kashmiri, who are ethnically distinct from the shit-smearers. This whole thing kicked off because they had a special stipulation in the Indian constitution, which the Kashmiri demanded be included before they gave up their independence, which said that only Kashmiris were allowed to buy land in Kashmir - your run of the mill jeet was forbidden from doing so. Modi unilaterally revoked this rule a couple years ago without following the agreed upon process, intending to flood those pristine Himalayan valleys with subcontinental refuse. This kicked off years of unrest and terror attacks. Correct.
Unskilled pilot has no survival options in any of the craft. Even the boggish soviet missiles are guaranteed a kill with most basic of IR trackers.
