when a president, jackson or trump or beeblegax, tells the supreme court "They have made their ruling, now let them enforce it," that is a call out to the fact that their power is entirely on paper. the hard power rests within the pursestrings and military of a country, both of which the president and congress have infinitely more control over than any judicial branch member.
Sure would be a problem if the left has spent the past 20 years setting up DEI programs in the military, which means if 'Orange hitler' tells them to do something and it goes against their demoralization programming, they'll not do it.

We've all seen the videos of fat shaniquas screaming their fucking lungs out at their commanding officers in front of entire battalions, only to not be punished at all because you aren't allowed to punish chimpouts, even in the military. Imagine that only with a side order of 3 letter agency inspired subversion and outright mutiny.
Some Democrats are trying to peel off but it's not working. How many mainstream Democrats are out there saying outright that transing kids was a bad idea and shouldn't have been pushed? I know we're early on this and I could be wrong, but I don't think the idiot parents who mutilated their kids are going to back down and neither are the mutilated kids who don't want to face the fact that they were used as a political pawn by pedophiles and greedy surgeons.
Oh don't kid yourself. We're going to see mass shootings over the trans kids thing. These kids are going to reach 25, 30 years of age, realize they've been turned into circus sideshows so their parents could brag on tiktok, and they're going to start killing parents and the doctors that did it to them. Guaranteed. Especially if the pendulum swings back and having your dick cut off and your tits replaced with zippers isn't a free ride to a pity career anymore.

kids still totally care about basketball
agree with your point at large, but kids do still care about basketball and what athletes have to say? it's retarded, yes, but it's true. Why else do you think I like Charles Barkley?

"I am not a role model"- Charles Barkley, 1993

But the President does not have that power to enforce.
the president is the one who is ultimately in charge of military and internal police operations, at the very top of the food chain. Law Enforcement is an executive branch charge.

The US Constitution Article II Section 3 said:
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

This explains why they have a reputation for petty, power-tripping, and nonsensical leadership.
I think what stripped away the last vestiges of my libertarianism was seeing how private control of communication channels leads to people being deplatformed with zero rights, zero process, zero appeal, zero means of redress, etc. See, it turns out that the most economically efficient way to dispense justice is to simply crush the most troublesome 0.1% without any process whatsoever, and only seriously investigate anything if there's a substantial amount of money on the line.

What we see with the internet and banking is something that would happen with phones, electricity and plumbing if it weren't for public utilities laws written decades and decades ago. "Ah, this asshole said 'nigger' on an alt-right podcast, and now ABC and Now This and everyone are giving me shit about doing business with him? Fine, no more electricity, water, gasoline, or communication for him. Fuck him." Press the button, and now that guy is just not your problem.

Sure, he can't like...travel or have heat. But it's 1 customer out of millions, and it took 2 hours for the media to make it not worth it for you to keep his lights on, no matter how faithful he's been about paying his bills on time. And maybe it turns out later that some redditor falsely identified him, but who gives a shit? Just one customer out of millions, it's not worth the time to even hear his appeal. This is the world libertarians want.

Something I just noticed, couldn't the SC use the 14th Amendment to rule against Trump's deportation orders? Now, I'm thinking the next logical step would be to amend the 14th Amendment to revoke birthright citizenship. Or, just ignore the SC's ruling and do so anything with Article IV's protection.

What is not widely known about the PayPal Mafia is that three South Africans played a major role in its formation and growth under the so-called ‘Don’ of the mafia, Peter Thiel.

The three South Africans – Elon Musk, Roelof Botha, and David Sacks – share a common background, all coming from the tip of Africa.

Thiel also spent some time in the country before becoming a renowned tech investor. Most of his few years in Africa were spent in modern-day Namibia at a school in Swakopmund.
What do you guys think about the South African clique of the Paypal mafia? Just for clarity, Thiel basically spent his whole childhood in the State of South Africa (which controlled Namibia at this time). I have university exams very soon but when thats done I may do a small research write up on these guys in the conspiracy theory thread if I discover anything worth mentioning.
I was just wondering what you think of them, given their influence. Given the relevance of Musk and Thiel I don't think this thread needs any justification in terms of relevance to current events

This is a horrifying prospect and all I'm going to say about it is I hope you are wrong. These children were mutilated for sick doctors, monstrous politicians, and soulless parents. I pity them.

This is an excellent point. I know there are lots of people here who do not trust the process and all that it entails but, for all the cynicism in the world, it does work.

I predict this playing out like drug addiction for boomers. You talk to guys at NA meetings, they were riding high in the 70s and 80s, drugs were perfect and the man was trying to hold them back from the future. Nothing could go wrong.

Now it's a daily grind for them to simply function and they all admit that this thing they used to live their life by is the worst thing ever.

Are people upset that a Supreme Court judge has overturned Trump's decision? Weren't those same people fine with it when it happened under Biden or abortion?

  • DRINK!
Reactions: GunCar Gary
The one common American identity that can be traced back to the founding is hating taxes and the faggots who want to take your guns so you can't do anything about it.
One of the only mistakes that I think the founding fathers made is keep the 2A a separate item. Should've lumped it in with the first.

Libertarians think privately-owned freeways would mean you could drive 200 mph while drunk, whereas actually it would mean that a spicy Facebook post about illegal aliens' driving habits gets you banned for life.

people are upset because it's a very very bullshit decision. it's a very specific technicality that we didn't notify the illegals far enough ahead of time that we were going to be treating them as alien enemies in the country. it's an attempt by roberts to ONCE AGAIN throw this shit back to the lower courts and let them fuck around with it instead of actually taking a hard stance on if it's legal for the president to fucking deport ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

this waffling and refusal to rule properly, instead just throwing it back to lower courts constantly, is going to be roberts' legacy, and that's what he fucking deserves.

Very few if any boomer estates will be inherited or actually hit the open market. Most will be sold to banks and multinational holding companies to cover a decade of biomechanical horror as the boomers desperately cling to life in fetid nursing homes.
I'm doubtful. Banks and Corps are just gonna hold on to homes sold to them by boomers, forever? You know there's taxes and other shit that has to be paid for them. Banks and Companies don't have endless money. It seems like it, but there is a bottom to it.

Banks and corps are in it to make money. It would make more sense to put homes on the market to sell to folks and then have them sign the mortgage with the same bank. Banks make more money off of a loan than having to pay taxes and shit for the land and home, et. al.

South Africa used to be a real country, and now look at it.

This is bait, right? Did you forget about the bajillion times Biden did whatever the hell he wanted to even after the judges told him "no"?

My concern is that with all this stuff, Trump's plan may backfire spectacularly.

He could have enforced existing laws and influenced Congress, which his party controls, to pass more stringent laws and immigration reform.
I disagree with the rest of your post but I'll just address this--Congress has refused to do its job for years. Possibly two decades if not more. Trump has zero influence with them because they're not interested in passing laws, just grifting constituents. Both parties are doing this. It's the one thing they're united on--doing absolutely nothing helpful or of consequence for the American people.

Just a reminder now that the Hur interview has dropped: Media knew. Congress knew. Our military knew. The Supreme Court knew. FBI/CIA/DOJ knew. All of DC knew. And not in a "I suspect he's got dementia" but full out knew. The Republicans knew, znd all they did was laugh at MTG when she wanted to impeach him. Not an MTG fan but so very, very few in our government were willing to do the right thing and impeach/25th him, because they were just fine with status quo and getting their bag while America swirled the toilet. Exactly how is Trump supposed to influence and work with these people?

Comparing roe v. Wade to this decision is a false equivalency that makes me think your baiting.
The reason this decision might upset people is because it's very clearly the USSC trying to defer their responsibility and they basically provided a non answer.

All they said was that the deportees weren't 'givin 'due process' but what does 'due process' look like for someone who is in the country illegally? Because unlike how it sounds 'due process' is an umbrella term for a range of different circumstances. These people were getting theirs in the form of a background check at a detention site, that thanks to technology takes literally minutes to do. If that background check comes back and you're found to not have legal resident status, have committed crimes that invalidate your visa, are a known criminal, or that you already have a order for removal then they have every right to deport you. In fact without the USSC explicitly laying out what the definition of 'due process' is for an illegal immigrant the DHS and ICE can just shrug and continue doing what they are doing. All this did was muddy the waters of the definition of 'due Process' in this circumstance setting up more bullshit at the lower courts. This decision makes the USSC look like pussies and it's going to inevitably come back up to them.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I hope that helps you understand why people are frustrated. Or just call me a retard and give me hats.
