The gang-bangers already had due process. They had their hearings, many of them were already in jail after being convicted of crimes. "Maryland Dad" had a deport order that was 4 years old and he was only out and about because of the orders Biden's Administration had given to law enforcement to not pursue any deportations so when he was pulled over and had a truck full of "construction workers" he was "helping to move" they just let him go.

Silly boy, the judge can rule whatever he want's. This is DISCOVERY not FOIA so the plaintiff's can indeed have fully access to DODGE's records even though they have executive privilege while they try the case. We promise that the plaintiff will never ever ever think about using what they learn to attack DODGE through another lawsuit!! Pinky swear!

They can probably either appeal or just stonewall that shit. Though this does not stop the problem of this just destroying the Judicial system's ability to do anything. Even just having a judge order the whole thing not to do anything will only make judicial infighting a thing.

Really the problem here is the weakness of Empires and systems. Sure, it feels nice to say there's a third branch that is totally independent guys and only cares about one thing but it's easy to see how any sort of institution can be easily corrupted and turned partisan. Which is the main problem here-there are levers to impeach judges but they won't be pulled no matter what due to how the process would work. This is I think due to how the obvious ruling class gets comfortable and divided from the common person and see themselves as above that shit and so moves to secure it's own power above forevermore. The only real solution for that I can think about is something that makes it incredibly easy to gain and loose power so that very bane of empires can't really form.
