His PO is a woman. He's said so.
I just figured everybody knew that. I guess it wasn't ever confirmed, but come on.
No. Quite the opposite, actually. Her
stepfather pleaded with her to leave him, and most of this thread was screaming at her to leave him.
@Not Who You Think (author of Kayla's OP) even compiled
a musical slide show to Wild World ("
If you wanna leave, take good care") with the same sentiment. It made a few of us hardened Farmers cry ugly tears. This is entirely new information.
I don't think there's anything that would prevent Kayla from taking half of everything and she seems like a good potential candidate for alimony too, if they still have that in MN.
Surprisingly, MN is very money-making spouse (usually the father) friendly. Alimony is capped, both by a fairly reasonable maximum and duration (four years, I believe). 50/50 time is also awarded more liberally there.
the simplest explanation is most likely the truth. i don't see how rekieta's trust fund is protected from a divorce.
Trust money is VERY protected. It's almost impossible for the State to get its hands on funds protected by trusts. Having said that, no one knows how Nick's trust is structured. His children are the beneficiaries of the main home.
as for testimony of rekieta given coco to this kid, can this be used by the cops to arrest rekieta again?
I would need to drill into the statutes around plea bargains. If new evidence or a new witness comes forward, can charges that were dropped in a plea deal be reopened? I don't know the answer.
A domestic at Rekieta house?
What is that, a day that ends with the letter y?
I've heard, 4th hand, that it involved hitting a child, and it was bad.
I wonder where the money went while the children were living with their grand parents, Nick put the side-hoes hovel on the market around that time.
Right, and that side-hoes hovel was the only large asset in Kayla's name.
