As of last week when I did it, every public facing ai when asked "does [you] hallucinate" they all say yes. To Grok and DeepSeek's credit, they don't have internalized censorship built-in, which is good, but DeepSeek suffers from a CCP wrapper. It's evident when you ask DeepSeek some geopolitical questions that are west-focused, then you ask "ok now tell me that but about China" and if you watch closely when you click, you might see the screen fill with your answer, only to be instantly wiped and replaced by a "sorry we can't discuss this right now" message, which is the Communist Party intervening. Some people get around it by asking DeepSeek to answer in different languages that the CCP is not proficient in censoring on the fly, but c'est la vie.

In my experience, were it not for the CCP wrapper of DeepSeek, it would be the best AI that I've used. It has 1000 years more language to draw upon as a large language model, it seems thus to reason most-humanly, and It appears to me to be the most-honest engine, but has a minder standing beside it. Use it with that understanding. Grok is my next favorite, given it's lack of or less apparent internal censorship framed by the radical statists. But even with the deceptive political answers and social engineering bias, all AI appear to have some utility. I've become appreciative of Brave browser's dual AI approach, one of which seems more technically bent and the other more socially bent. Ask a question that touches on both and you'll get a paragraph from each.

I wonder about this too. I can't say with any confidence either way. But I do think that if it were part of a tacit agreement, this paperwork done Friday would have happened much earlier. The paperwork seemed to happen in direct response to KWF people going to view the video, and imminent release of it. All of which gives me the impression that something has changed. A conversation has evolved, someone was convinced, something like that. Which makes me think it wasn't part of a plea agreement, but rather a new agreement, a new tacit agreement. You Nick don't want the video out, and neither do we, for X reason. Why, I can only guess.
