Theres no way Chibi could pull in Japan lol. In Japan marrying, let alone dating foreigners is pretty taboo for alot of people. The Japanese people that date westerners are ones that have moved to Western countries and have been influenced by the culture here. The only Japanese women in Japan that would go for him would be one that's out for money, but he doesn't have much of that.
The only friends he will have in Japan are the ones he meets online because they’re all shut-ins. What even is the point? He has nothing in common with any typical Japanese male other than maybe getting drunk and being bad at karaoke.
I think after the first couple months of living in Japan he would be pretty miserable. The only meaningful face to face interactions he has is with his parents, and he already has enough online "friends". He is wasting so much effort to be a neet in Japan when nothing about his life would change at all other than the location.
