The only time they did was when some like Newsom spoke out against barring Trump from the ballot, but even then, it was because there was literally no legal standing whatsoever to do so; and they were confident they could beat Trump on Election Day.

Let's be fair here, it wasn't Bush that sold this country down the river, it was Reagan if we're talking uncontrolled migration, LBJ if we're talking about things in general but we can even make a case for FDR since he got us involved with the war. Bush was just another useful idiot.
