I dunno, Kayla, it's the same way that one could ask "how is "reading others' writing an invaluable tool because it's not about the specific subject, it's about the style and inspiration to improve your own" so hard to understand". The fact that you don't get inspiration from other media is incredibly telling in your own inability to create things, especially since you turn around and you're like "I exclusively like modern/at the time/cringe idol AUs", all of which are creatively bankrupt as concepts.

I saw a lot of posts about her writing in the last few pages, but what does it actually look like? I don't want to surf 300 pages for an example.

Yeah, hospitals do get boring when you have to be there for long stretches, but also, like, your daughter is right there. It's not like she's off in the NICU where you can only visit for an hour at a time. Feels bad, man. She has to be in the basket under the light? Sing to her! Croon some lullabies! Talk to the boywife and make sure she's doing alright! Use any opportunity for your kid (or niece, WTF) to hear your voice! Take a nap! Most married couples who actually like each other are incapable of being bored in each other's company, let alone while going through a major life event like the birth of their first child. A healthy couple could spend hours just discussing their future hopes and dreams for their daughter. They both sound extremely checked out.

Its always heartbreaking when children are born into a no win sitiuation, even kids born in impoverished third world shitholes dying by age 5 will at least experience some form of affection and love and care before they go.

Assuming this poor child even escapes birth defects from her mother's poisoned body there's no shot it’s gonna have a healthy and normal life.

There’s no situation where this kid will win. On one hand, both of her parents are mentally stunted lesbos, on the other hand there’s a lot of risks involved with having been born from the womb of a pooner. There’s so much potential for abuse and neglect that the best thing that can happen for this kid is for her to be taken away from them and given to (I guess?) her grandparents.

Hold your goddamn newborn and go outside. Sit on the porch, bench, whatever with YOUR CHILD in your arms. Get the skinship going, it's an extremely important part of bonding with YOUR BABY. It's familiar with your wife's heartbeat, but not yours.

This is something I’ve noticed a lot with spergs and redditors. They’ll have kids and then complain about how they’re not going to be able to consoom. I don’t know how anyone could be so disgusting, I have never been happier than I was the moments I was able to hold both of my kids in their first moments on earth. I think her repeating constantly that her situation is too hyperspecific for anyone's advice to work is a great window into why she's a shit writer. She refuses to practice empathy, so naturally she lacks the ability to create. Half of being a writer is understanding that we are all sharing the same human experience, and that inspiration can come from anywhere.

It's almost poetic, how she has failed to create anything by herself. Someone else created the world her writing is set in, and her brother created the new life she's now responsible for. Her entire existence is derivative, yet she insists that she can't derive inspiration from the works of others. Like pottery.

Jesus fuck, there's even a mention that the baby has high bilirubin levels which can be VERY dangerous for a newborn as the excess bilirubin is stored in brain tissue and it puts pressure in the babies head and can cause bilirubin encephalopathy which can cause permanent deafness, mental retardation, or even death. That's why the baby is under UV light getting treatment and they can't be fucking bothered to see if their own child will live or even have fucking brain damage. The main cow of this thread, Kayla Waller, is a biological female. But since both she and the pooner are females (and the pooner was the one who really wanted to carry a baby), they did indeed get a donor. Kayla's own brother.

Kayla caused some drama for herself (as she often does), by detailing in a Discord server how the pooner wife Bethany was inseminated using a "turkey-baster" (Kayla admitted this was the term she used). She was then immediately kicked out of the server, which she malded immensely about, and occasionally still malds over.


For new thread peeps - the main cow here is Kayla, which is her birth name. She goes by "Miles" and occasionally by other random names. Her preferred pronouns are they/them and sometimes he/him, but most people in the thread intentionally misgender her because it's funny. Her long-term partner, now legal spouse is named Bethany, but goes by "Nick" and for a very brief time went by "Ralphie." Beth is more private so much less is known about her, aside from what Kayla posts. Kayla uses they/them pronouns for Beth, but also refers to Beth as her hubby, a decidedly masculine title. Kayla has never used cross-sex hormones, so she looks entirely like a(n ugly) woman. Beth has taken cross-sex hormones in the past, though stopped a couple years ago. From pictures, you can tell she started out female, but she's also got a whispy lil pooner chin beard and is balding. From pictures, it's also apparent that Beth doesn't brush her teeth. So Beth looks like neither man nor woman, but more like some unfortunate goblin creature.
