Nick Rekieta supported father of
Sophie Long,
Michael Long because he believed CPS and the courts mismanaged his case. He had him on his stream to fundraise and to advocate for him while he had a warrant for his arrest, misrepresenting the charge as suspected abduction when it was child kidnap - thus making Rekieta professionally complicit in assisting in a crime, which would possibly have gotten him disbarred had the video not been struck. However, this information has largely been known far back in the thread.
Just audio, it's not worth watching because Keanu struggles heroically to resize a browser window.
However, other new allegations from multiple sources close to Nick that verified it are rather more damning: Courtesy of

- Nick trapped
Kayla Rekieta in a corner and yelled "HIT ME!" over and over again at her at the top of his lungs, likely to try and bait her into hitting him so Nick could get her in trouble with the police
- Nick cornered Kayla in the shower and screamed at her. Kayla panicked and bashed her head against the shower window, giving her a gash in her head and concussive symptoms
- Nick's former close friend claims Nick hits his kids in an "impulsive and disciplinary way" (not punching them) and felt comfortable enough to do it in front of the friend, something "verified by multiple people"
Some other little moments include Gabe referring to
Null as the 'Librarian of Lolcows', praising the Prospering Grounds (Kayla Rekieta's thread specifically) and Geno briefly appearing to directly call Nick a "mushy-brained addled idiot", who was ineffectually melting down in superchats and
𝕏, likely because he had pre-emptively confessed to choke-slamming his son for no real reason.
Nick did counter that the video was only taken down by Sophie's mother,
Kelly Long after Michael revealed incriminating documents, and that lolcow clipper channel
Elissa Clips was in a sexual relationship with Michael at the time...neither of which is...really a defence.
