Naruto’s was especially egregious since it’s filler is the last 80 episodes of a 220 episode run, almost two years of weekly episodes that undercuts the entire point of the time skip. For those that don't know, both Naruto and Shippuden each separately have a 41% (not kidding) filler percentage. Never watched a series with such an egregious amount of filler.
I was still a casual anime watcher when those episodes started coming out, and had no real concept of what filler was. So I kept watching week after week, confused on why the plot wasn't moving along and why all this goofy, non-serious shit was going on for so long. Thankfully I finally wisened up and skipped over all that garbage.Naruto’s was especially egregious since it’s filler is the last 80 episodes of a 220 episode run, almost two years of weekly episodes that undercuts the entire point of the time skip.
Nope, Power Levels were always a thing, they just didn't always call them that or have numbers tied to them.DB: I must win by being the better fighter and having the most skill
No he wasn't, his intention was beat Goku so he knows there's always someone stronger out there. He had to goad Goku into a final attack so they'd clash in an advantageous way for himself. Granted, he had to waste a lot of energy blowing up the moon so it probably wouldn't have been as close as it was if not for that, but either way it wasn't easy for him.Roshi was going easy on goku in the first tournament.
"Goku is a bad dad, he let Piccolo kidnap Gohan"They are definitely one of the main proponents of the "Goku is a bad dad" meme.
Z fights are just dudes floating in mid air while the ground breaks around them. The ones in DB are just so much more fun to follow.Nope, Power Levels were always a thing, they just didn't always call them that or have numbers tied to them.
Z is no different than DB at its core, the same principles apply. Technique and skill can give you an edge, but they cannot win you a fight if there's an insurmountable power differential. Goku didn't get considerably more skillful to beat Tao, he basically got stronger
If DB fights are so much more fun to follow then where's the dudes floating in mid air while the ground breaks around them? Checkmate, AtheistsZ fights are just dudes floating in mid air while the ground breaks around them. The ones in DB are just so much more fun to follow.

Well that saves me some time, cheers.Case in point this video.
Didn't Madara send them and by extention us to the fillerscape that took several IRL months before they finally continued the plot? They didn't call it the "infinite filleryomi" to nothing. I read that the manga had already finished before they even started with the filler and the fucking game Storm 4 just adapted the manga because everyone was still staring at the filler moon.Naruto and Shippuden each separately have a 41% (not kidding) filler percentage. Makes me glad I never watched that anime, should really read the manga though.Bleach had a 45% filler percentage.

Anyone who thinks Goku is a shitty dad would be an even worse father in that universe."Goku is a bad dad, he let Piccolo kidnap Gohan"

>Gohan was literally the only one capable of beating Cell,
>Goku was going all out and Gohan thought he was holding back
"Goku is a bad dad, he gave Cell a Senzu Bean"
>in reality
>he knows Gohan needs to be backed into a corner before he snaps

I will defend Pokémon having filler because it helped to make the regions feel lived in and large. I do agree it was ridiculous in Johto how long it took Ash to get to the next gym every time, that was actually stupid.Bad filler is Pokémon [Johto season in particular]
I don't have the picture on me, but didn't it take several episodes for Ash to go through a 2 minute route or some shit?I will defend Pokémon having filler because it helped to make the regions feel lived in and large. Here is the list of the amount of episodes that it took for Ash to battle a gym leader for the first time (starting with the first Johto episode):I don't have the picture on me, but didn't it take several episodes for Ash to go through a 2 minute route or some shit?
Gotta fill 52 episodes a year somehow. Here is the list of the amount of episodes that it took for Ash to battle a gym leader for the first time (starting with the first Johto episode):
Falkner: 15
Bugsy: 13
Whitney: 14
Morty: 23
Chuck: 27
Jasmine: 15
Pryce: 14
Clair: 14
It didn't take exactly 23 episodes to get to Ecruteak, but it was still a ridiculous amount of time. I don't quite remember how mountainous Johto is off the top of my head, though I'm assuming it's more of a valley when it comes to the middle of the region.
I honestly wonder if the anime team had a map of the regions laid out for them and someone had an autistic general idea of how long it would reasonably take to get to a main city on foot. It makes sense for there to be smaller towns and villages in between main cities, but I dunno about the layout.
He's the OC protag of DBL's story mode.Sparking Zero got a new charecter on the roaster and its one none one expected.
Never played DBL. Who is this guy? Whats his story?
You know what, not a mobilefag or even super into Legends as a concept but I fuck with Shallot. I wonder if his brother will be in the game one day. Shame Sparking is mediocre and has no future beyond drip feeding content that will in no way extend its lifespan meaningfully. What a sad fate for BT, if you can even call SZ a BT game. Alejandro is doing pretty good still at least.Sparking Zero got a new charecter on the roaster and its one none one expected.

The reason for that is because Bleach's anime was terrible compared to the manga. The time slot thing is only half the story. The anime was only supposed to be about 20ish episodes. So they completely scrapped Orihime's backstory. When it kept going, they had plenty of manga material to cover so they burned through it relatively quickly. However, they ran into the manga material midway through the Soul Society arc and since there was no natural break in the story, they decided to continue with the manga material, pushing the manga and anime very closely together. They never really recovered from this. They gave 100 filler episodes for the Bount Arc. However, they ran into the manga midway through Hueco Mundo and afterwards they just said "Fuck it" and slapped filler arcs wherever they had to.You think thats bad?

I enjoyed TFS back in the day, but now that I've seen the canon series, I kinda doubt any of the fuckers who made it actually watched dragon ball.TFS was one of, if not the worst things to happen to the 'DB community' online.
They're maymay guys, of course not. They're the type of people who'll never take anything seriously and then mock people who do, unless it's something they're really passionate about, in which case it's the opposite.I kinda doubt any of the fuckers who made it actually watched dragon ball.
All true, BUT, at the end of DBZ he does abandon his wife, teenage son, and granddaughter to train some pajeet."Goku is a bad dad, he let Piccolo kidnap Gohan"

I didn't play it but I know Toriyama designed him, so he's pseudo canon.Sparking Zero got a new charecter on the roaster and its one none one expected.
