There's no chance in hell that we're ever going to strike the Three Gorges Dam in a non WW3 scenario. If it ever did get destroyed it would lead to the deaths of millions of bugmen and affect the lives of hundreds of millions. That would be tantamount to a nuclear strike on China and would lead to a total mutually assured destruction scenario to both America and China.
There’s no chance in hell we go to war with China because of how closely-tied our economy is to theirs. For the WW3 scenario to be considered, we’d have to sever trading ties and the donor class just won’t let that happen.

Then just say the U.S. government. It's more accurate and isn't laden with 'hello fellow x' energy.

Not going to apologize for calling out manipulative language.
It's short hand, autist, it's not manipulative.

American knowledge of history* everyone

Yes, explain what you mean. What's your fucking point, where are you going with this.

All I know is all the thread tourists are shrieking it's two more weeks to another forever war, while the administration is flat out saying we aren't sending soldiers to Iran. Who do I believe? The president and his vice president or online retards who want to troll Trump supporters?
"What do you mean we were at war with Eurasia last week? Big Brother said that we've always been at war with Eastasia! Who do I believe, Big Brother or online retards that just want to troll true Ingsoc patriots?

Trump told Netanyahu he didn't want Israel to bomb Iran. Netanyahu did it anyway.

Trump told Netanyahu he didn't want Israel to bomb the Iranian nuclear program. Netanyahu did it anyway.

Trump told Netanyahu he didn't want Israel to kill the Ayatollah. Netanyahu gave the go-ahead anyway.

Trump told Netanyahu he wasn't going to order the US armed forces to strike Iran. Cue last night.

Are you beginning to see a (((pattern))) here?

ETA the fact that Trump kept saying he was close to making a nuclear deal with Iran, all the while Iran said "we will not stop enriching, it is our right" repeatedly the whole time.

Assuming they actually moved all the nuclear material out before the attack, what can they actually do with it now. I'd assume if it did happen, we pretty much know where they took it anyway since we probably have eyes on all of the facilities 24/7 from space.

Do bear in mind that Trump posted an AI video of him and Netanyahu together, SHIRTLESS, after Trump reclaimed Gaza for Israel. I do not know geopolitics, particularly Israel's stake against Iran, but that tells me that one of Trump's goals as President is for Israel to reclaim themselves or something. Which I have to ask: what does that have to do with America's welfare?

Bombing a country to rubble and then leaving the country alone to form their own government in the aftermath is a long-term plan so retarded that even Jews are going to see what's wrong with it. You're going to end up with Iran ruled by Super ISIS.
Our mistake was trying to nation build and introduce democracy to a people who didn't want it.
Our mistake was trying to play politics and sponser militants that became the terrorists of tomorrow.
Our best option is to use our air superiority to level their leadership, cripple their military infrastructure and let whoever is left of the 90 million locals pick up th pieces, be it as a unified Iran or a collection of warlord states.

That would accomplish the goals of preventing Iran from being a player in the ME, without the need for a forever war.
There's only one real solution to build a stable functioning country in the Middle East after we invade a nation: mass ethnic cleansing. These people will never forget what we did to them, they will never give up and they will always hate our guts no matter what we do. We have to wipe every single one of them out and build a new country without them. Obviously America will never solve this problem that we're continually repeating over and over again because of the ethics reasons involved and because the optics are beyond career destroying. Nobody is willing to be the one to attach their name to mass ethnically cleansing Iraq or Iran

You guys really need to drop it with the USS liberty shit, it comes across as desperate and hurts your cause so effectively it may as well be a mossad psyop.

But a boat that got hit 50 fucking years ago in a friendly fire incident in the middle of a warzone at a time when naval hailing relied on HF and morse code is such a nothing burger if you know anything about naval combat.

It's a ship not a boat, very large one indeed that flew it colors according to one survivor. You just don't attack by air and naval forces on a American Flag waving ship. There's rules ya know. Even more so, when naval IDF sees sailors with US patches on arms and STILL guns them down.

I would also counter respectfully that a incident 50 years ago being desperate is no different than hearing about Lolacaust for 70+ years.

"Guys it's no big deal, Iran can't do shit to our military, the worst thing that could happen is they fund and support domestic terrorist attacks on US soil"

Do some of you hear yourselves?
I've heard Iran talking about death to America my entire life. Now I see a lot of you wishy-washy types having a stroke because we bombed them once, very lightly. Nothing's gonna happen.

These are the same kind of NAFO troons that tell you to not worry about Russian nukes because they probably don't work anymore.

But China has to think about it, they can't take that option off the table because the possibility exists. And yes, it would utterly destroy modern China and have vast consequences downstream, but the option has to be on the table. Just like the Chinese keep being caught bringing blights and molds and such into the US and putting back doors into power grid machinery that they could potentially hack and shut down later.
The USA will not attack the three gorges dam;

"With the conflict expanding, China took steps to deter attacks on its nuclear forces and otherstrategic targets. It publicized photos of mobile nuclear-capable missiles, and official mediaquoted anonymous PLA officers who suggested that China might use nuclear weapons inresponse to attacks against nuclear forces, strategic C2 targets, leadership facilities in and aroundBeijing, population and economic centers, nuclear power plants, and major hydroelectric power facilities (such as the Three Gorges Dam). Even before China sent these signals, the United States was already avoiding such targets to avoid provoking nuclear escalation. "

Anyone telling you that they'll just tomahawk it are literally propagandist whose job is to lull people like you into a false sense of security.

Don't even need to debate it any further, they either go quiet or start lying to you about provable facts.

It's short hand, autist, it's not manipulative.
Use of the second person and generalist collective terms is a passive manipulative tactic older than the English language and easily understood by people who aren't retarded. It's a simple and effective means by which to pressure people into agreement with your position and force an 'us vs them' dynamic.

And saying it's just shorthand when its use strengthens a key component of one of the major arguments made by terrorists for striking civilians/civilian infrastructure in democratic countries isn't particularly intelligent. Say 'the U.S. government' if that is who you're speaking about. Rather than attempting to include everyone in the U.S. with the government's military considerations and actions abroad.

At a minimum, it's less inaccurate and makes you sound less folksy. Which if you didn't know, is the polite way to call someone retarded.
