I think what Wodanaz said is correct. Most people on the farms weren't as critical of the VTuber sphere until fairly recently. And I think the fact that it was supposed to be his last livestream, where everyone thought he was gonna just disappear and die, overshadowed the fact that he was talking to Pippa.
