Glad I am not the only one thinking it. If Charlie really cared, he would be singing praises for SKG for a week straight when it was first announced, not on some random podcast or stream that 75% of his subscribers will never watch. Fuck Mutahar in particular for trying to flip-flop on the issue to not piss of Maldavius Figtree, now he's trying to re-write history and claim he was always pro SKG.

Unfortunately I believe this is the only way things like this will get enough attention. It's messed up that they will only get involved when they believe it will benefit them. The more sloptuber coverage the better.

It boggles my mind just how much such a previously widespread concept such as "SELF-HOSTED SERVERS" has completely been memoryholed in the normie minds. I really cannot understand how one can come to such a ridiculous conclusion; that SKG's goal is for devs to run the servers for the players indefinitely rather than simply handing over the server software wrapped in a neat package, or something along those lines.

Nepotism won't do you much to get you views and an audience so that gives much more credence to the youtube shorts route. His youtube shorts that give explanations on how to code or do work for game development caught on very quickly and it gained him most of his audience. Unfortunately for him it didn't transfer to people that actually agreed with his views and now he's getting the fallout of that.
