You can see right through Mamdani, to the foreign striver willing to say anything to appeal to an “emerging market demographic”. He disgusts me, on a visceral level, especially after seeing this pandering pic he took of him eating his foreign grayslop on the subway, he's just like "you" i.e. every barely sapient foreigner living in NYC who wipes their asses with their hands and messily eats slop wrapped in coarse flatbreads on the subways. Though from the looks of the situation, a lot of his support comes from retarded white leftists, some of whom I saw online acting surprised that some mystery meat white-presenting homo who had a "career" making backpacker rap with help from his mommy isn't really ingratiating himself with the African-American community.

I think that's just a Jeet thing in general. When they want to get somewhere they're always the biggest, most sycophantic suckups in the room: the ones most eager to shamelessly abase themselves before & lick the assholes of the people whose good grace they need in that moment, to tell said people what (they think) they want to hear and do what (they think) they want to do at all costs - at least, until they actually get the power & influence they crave. Then (or hell, even before then, if they just think they can speak freely without getting overheard by the boss) they'll cheerfully backstab, or at best completely disregard, the people dumb enough to give them said power & influence. While they're at it they will also almost certainly treat those beneath them/who they don't need with absolute contempt, the sort of abusive assholery you would ordinarily find ascribed to & exaggerated for the feudal aristocracy in Soviet agitprop and such.

I've seen it where I work, I've seen it with Vivek (always kill that nigger for Wraithguard BTW) and now I'm seeing it with this asshole. I think Mamdani will make everyone braindead enough to vote for him regret it in under a year, unless of course they're rich enough to fuck off elsewhere to escape the consequences of their decision (in which case they'll parasitize off a better state and infect it with the same moronic ideas & votes instead).

Colonized is exactly the correct word for what is going on in Africa
You’re not wrong and I agree that yes, China/UAE/Russia/etc are colonizing Africa. However, I’m in favor of the term being used to describe the world order leading up to the 50s, because it carves out terminology for how the modern world was made. It’s a neat way to wrap up the 17th through early 20th centuries, and the way it operated was different to the modern corporate-interest method. Decolonization happened and it, imo, was mostly Cold War side-choosing. This is a return to form. Maybe we should call it recolonization, but that takes decolonization too seriously considering that what that looked like was mostly just Cold War regime changes.

All of this is pedantic and maybe a little stupid but I think colonialism is too evocative of a historical period to keep using it. It’s also its own word, if that makes sense- it’s not descriptive as much as it is conceptual, and people define it how they want. Maybe I’ve just read too many smug communist tweets, but I think if you want to communicate to people what is happening in Africa, it works better to put it in novel terms. Also, it has become possible to reap the benefits of a colony without actually having to have one. You don’t need the kinds of numbers the British used to pull up with- you can do it all on Whatsapp.

It is very funny how identical it all is though. Grim but funny. Empire of Dust could have been made about the British wandering through old Arab trading ports and it will be made when the Indians (god help us) have to patch the roads the Chinese paved.

This guy literally just does not give a fuck.

In a conventional sense this statement should enrage everyone. Republicans who don't want war, leftists who don't want it for different reasons, traditional democrats who care about nice sounding words, stock holders who don't like uncertainty.

The guy has said and done so many things like this and crossed so many little "implied" lines, things that aren't exactly against the rules but are de-facto seen as such due to what a bunch of social analysts have calculated from polls and their totally not worthless degrees.

That statement yesterday about how Israel and Iran don't know wtf they're doing, talking about Canada being a state, accepting the plane from Qatar, working in the McDonalds drive through, standing up and screaming "fight" after being shot. And that's just the recent stuff, he's been acting this way since 2014 and he keeps fucking winning, not just elections but pragmatic concrete victories as well.

It's no surprise he pisses off conventional politicians so much. They've walked on eggshells and learned all the social rules like a preppy high school girl and then saw some guy from out of town come in and just sweep using a strategy they had all deemed off limits. No other politician on earth would dare do this shit.

I don't know what he teaches us about where the country was/is but it's something huge.

I think it might be a craving for honesty, that point has been made before but not really delved into. All these rules of dos and donts made sense in 1960, but now that everyone understands exactly what they're done for it all seems pointless. Like a job that started with a safety procedure because it was new and most employees didn't know how dangerous it was, but once everyone has worked there for 20 years they get it and don't need to tiptoe around it anymore.

It's like the American public was thinking "holy shit, we don't need to hear about how islamaphobia is wrong and some of them are good and we need to separate the regime from the people and America isn't perfect and our allies gave us some help and it was a difficult decision... we get it... we don't need to hear all these specific PC words and conditionals just tell us if the motherfuckers got bombed or not since we all know that's what this is actually about".

And Trump obliged.

It's like the difference between a sports commentator who just states the score and which players are fucking up vs which are carrying, and one who tries to fill in a bunch of word salad to make it seem like the game is this complex strategic thing with all these variables that totally matter and can't just be reduced to "taller man put ball in hoop better". Everyone knows what you actually mean.

Another good example is office meetings, anybody who has had to sit through one of those empathizes with this. Just say the 5 sentences that are actually required for this shit so we can get to work.

Dems seem to be trying to replicate this with AOC and that black cunt who pretends to be hood, but you can still tell they're trying to come across that way without actually being that way. You can't fake bluntness.

you wanna know my favortie fun fact about NYC in the wake of all this?

They cant get rid of the cockroaches!

One building will fumigate itself and ive read fucking horror stories about how people see hundreds of thousands of these cockroaches evacuate the building. falling out of windows onto people, pouring up out of basment windows, A WHOLE ZERG SWARM!

And where do they go? The closest building NOT being fumigated. So they have tried to fumigate whole rows of buildings at a time or even whole streets but its not enough, the best estimates are they would have to shut whole blocks down for unknow periods to basically fumigate the whole block at once and have a strict permiter to catch the ones trying to escape, obviously this is wildly unfeasible in the most densly populated city in America so the problem just festers.

Its kinda a widly dark though that if NYC is hit by some big attack or even was the site of a pitched battle, the cockroaches would surive all the radiation and basically take over the city, feeding on the bodies of those trapped in the rubble.

Lets be real, he's almost certainly a slice of cheese short of a ham sandwich, but I can think of nobody better to fight a literal gibsmedat communist then the night shift manager of an inner city McDonalds.
I brought him up a bunch of pages ago.
He's gotten the GOP nomination before, no one else bothers to put their name down. The Republicans have completely abandoned the city and he has no support from the national party because they know race is a lost cause for them. They didn't even bother to have a primary.
Curtis Silva has been perfecting this grift for like 40 years now. He'll probably be the Republican nominee next time too, just make sure to tune into his show.
I duno if it is a grift. If it is, it isn't a very good one. He's had problems making his child support payments. Lives in some tiny apartment with 15 cats. And a non-syndicated radio show on WABC likely doesn't pay that well. Local talk radio is basically dead.
I actually met him IRL randomly once many years ago. And even with no cameras around he was exactly the same. I think he is sadly fighting to save a NYC that just doesn't exist anymore.

I don't really believe that GA did a lot to actually fight crime themselves with sic Karate moves, but they did succeed at forcing the politicians to address the very real problems by creating a massive media circus. Swila is still doing the same shit today. Recently he was getting arressted by chaining himself to the gates of the migrant tent encampments the city tried to make on the down low to get the rapefugee's out of sight..
People where like "uhh They're building tent cities?!? Why?".

It depends if Cuomo decides to run as an independent in the general election, if he does he might split the Adams vote like a retard.
He already made a party before the primary. He will be on the ballet under the "Fight and Deliver" party that he invented. Its already there.
Adams made the tactical decision to go independent when Cuomo decided to try and get the Democratic nomination.
Cuomo managed to fuck everything up and paved the way for an actual commie to win. And I have a feeling he will end up running and splitting the votes like you say because he is delusional.

There's way too much old money interests in NYC to let Mamdani win.
I disagree there. That was true in the 1990s. Its no longer true today.
The real old money fucked off and reincorporated in other states when Albany and Deblasio went hard progressive. And they make damn sure to say outside NY for 184.00 days so they don't get fucked in a Residency Audit. If the old money really still cared about the city still they would have just pulled a Bloomberg 2: Electric Boogaloo, and put someone they could back on the Republican ticket. Bloomberg switched from D to R just to become mayor then switched back to D after he left office. It was blatantly obvious he did it to skip the democrat primary and no one cared.

Colonized is exactly the correct word for what is going on in Africa, as much of the continent is now functionally colonies of China and the gulf states. The only difference is that the modern colonizers aren't making these states fly their flag, they are just being exploited for their resources like the British, Spanish, French, Dutch, Germans and Portugese did back in the day.
The double gotcha

Someone go fund these niggas a steam engine, how you going to get colonized twice?

The concept of a colony and colonization exists separate from the historical Colonial Era, and it is important to use accurate language to avoid the dissolution of language that the left pushes for, as giving into revisionist language surrenders the tools of dissent that we all ned to keep information alive.

That said, the current form of exploitation in Africa is a sort of "Soft Colonization", where the foreign powers aren't taking political control of the vassal states, but enslaving them economically and influencing their internal politics as much as possible through soft means. Getting down to brass tacks, it is making them colonies while avoiding the stigma of changing their flags.

Wow, only 4 to 5 names out of 13. That's surprising even for me
Hispanic and Indian immigrants are outdoing the native Shylocks, very sad!

“Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully,” Ocasio-Cortez said in reference to the president’s Queens childhood.

But Slater, who was a senior when Ocasio-Cortez was a freshman, chimed in with the yearbook photo, pointing out that the lawmaker attended Yorktown public schools, including Yorktown High School.

“If you’re a BX girl then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already,” Slater tweeted.

Slater, in a statement to The Post, said the “AOC-Bronx mythology is laughable” to anyone who lives in the Westchester community, as do about 36,000 people.

“The truth is AOC is Sandy Cortez who went to Yorktown High School and lived at the corner of Friends Road and Longvue Street,” he said.

“She may think it makes her look tough or like some kind of champion for the radical left who voted for [mayoral candidate] Zohran Mamdani, but she really needs to come clean and drop the act.”

i'd say the term is not really applicable here.
colony implies that the colonizing nation sets up settlements of its own in the colonized territory and builds state-like structures and institutions, with the intent of eventually incorporating it into the nation as a province or imperial territory of some kind. this is what euro colonial powers used to do.
this modern stuff on the other hand doesn't seem to pursue such goals, it appears to be purely for financial and economic gain.

I have never seen anyone other than fat sheboons eat a full meal on the subway in my city, let alone set it on the seat next to them instead of just holding the takeout container in their hands.

Do you think the thin barrier of paper bag and aluminum will protect your food from whatever bioterrors lurk on the seats of a NY subway?

I am seeing a level of shock in this thread, at New York deciding to embrace a commie mujeet more batshit insane than the nigger running Chicago.

Better hope Stephen Miller gets most of his policies carried out since the Republicans are currently trying to sell off public lands and not really much anything so far to reduce immigration through legislation yet.

I looked this up and it's actually not a simple PC thing, there's a more complicated reason they did it. At first there was just a Secretary of War, then they made a Secretary of the Navy, and the War guy just had the army, then in 1947, at the same time they made a Secretary of the Air Force, they changed Secretary of War to Secretary of the Army, and made them all subordinate to the new Secretary of Defense. You could argue that back then it just made sense to call it something new so no one was confused. Obviously since then though lots of people view it as this Orwellian euphemism, but traditionally the Secretary of War meant the guy who oversaw the army but not the other stuff.
