Rossman talking about how vidya manufactures have more of a lobby for right to repair than any other industry makes my blood boil. this industry acts like they are at risk of over regulation when they want it so you cant replace a disc drive without their consent.

i said it on the jason maldivus thread and i'll say it again, loius is only on this due to the consumer protetction talk and believes it's similar due to the naming, it's not really since the digital world allows for things you cannot do on the tangible world, can it help loius dealing with his sthick? absolutely as dropping support for OS's/Bios or whateverthefuck he handles with the pcb's won't hurdle him too much but that's not the point of the SKG petition, at all, it handles gaming, not eletronic devices softwares.
in a way he wishes to ensure the right to repair thing doesn't hit a roadblock due to software fucky wuckyness bricking the things he wishes to repair, something that happens with many things loius deal with, especially shit like printers as i've had more than two HP printers being bricked because of gay software not recognizing the fucking toners i paid a good money for.
