It's not really illegal to threaten to sue someone, is it?
Threatening legal action is legal and cannot be claimed to be an illegal threat towards someone, because you're essentially just threatening someone with due process. But if you actually say what you're threatening to sue them for, then if it makes them look very bad, they can take their own legal action and seek a declaratory judgment.

A reminder that Mald's last stream needs to be archived. I'm not doing it I'm out of mana.
Also Kronos streams. I think on 7/3 he was going through Malds unban requests live on stream.
@ me if you ever need something archived, I've downloaded them. They're massive and I'm not going to break them up and put them here unless there's a real need. No one is going to watch 20+ hours of Mald and his janny. I'll try to upload them to gofile for now. It's slow, though.
Has anyone checked where the petition is at rn?

The King of Kong is a magnanimous ruler. He will accept a settlement, predicated on the following terms.

1. Mald must admit that the Shit Gnome is real and everything they did was consensual.

2. Mald must 1v1 him in Smash.

3. Mald must drink an entire bottle of Billy's Hotsauce on stream.

Fair and generous terms, I think.

Jerrel/Sungrand Studios (shovelware developer disgusting as a professional) attempts to insert himself into Malddrama again
if you don't know who this Sungrand guy is
this is the only clip you need to watch to understand this dude (no this is not a joke, I did not add in anything, it's real)

this fucking guy NEEDED to be on Mald's side.
it would've so god damn funny.
he makes this fucking thing, while the games he makes are not even up to par with Mald's game.

Out of curiosity, what do you think should happen to games where both the devs and the players think it's dogshit? Like Concord. Sony refunded all the people who bought that game and killed it- is that enough to relieve them of their burden or should they also be forced to let people host concord for the 5 people who actually liked it?

OR companies should be forced to tell you that the game will die and give you expiration date and you change the word "buying" on "renting"
Which is less likely due them not knowing the date themselves and the hit on sales that they will get.
Someone said they'd just put a sticker on the box with a warning like that and it wouldn't make a difference. That's partially true.
Mostly because most people purchase digital copies nowadays, and you'll need a different approach for digital stores. If you could just plaster GAME GON DIE on half the physical packaging like they do with health warnings on cigarettes, not only would that be amusing, but could actually have an effect.
It certainly wouldn't hurt to raise awareness among consoomers about planned obsolescence disguised as "online functionality".

Honestly, so long as the customers were refunded, that's all people really want. Either they let those 5 people run the game themselves, or give everyone their money back.

It's funny that he's so adamant on his reputation, "These people are denouncing every accomplishment I've done when there's physical evidence to the contrary".

But Jason. Pirate Oh Software. You can sit there, bitch and moan about people bitching and moaning about you all you want but until you actually release that fucking game, and until you can manage to go a year without a controversy, everything everyone's saying about you might as well be true. Ferret Fucking Included TM.

I knew that taking 10 years to release a pixel art game was bad, but seeing that sloptuber guy go over how YOU yourself said you only made 8% progress on Animus in 2 (two) years really made it sink in. You are no joke a fraud.

Cherry on top for me personally is the fact that all of this is happening while he's playing that new Dune game which is appealing to the newer fans with a shallow presentation that does a poor job of representing the interesting world inside the books. Of course Jason would be super into famous franchise MMOwannabe slop made for pretentious assholes. It's like Narcissus looking into the fucking water and seeing himself. He just can't help it.
