I remember the hazbin pilot used that kind of gag but less for framing someone as ugly and more as the kind of "detailed reaction frame for a split second" version. It's actually in the video compilation of clips I found and sent earlier lmao.Late reply on this subject I know, but you've got me thinking: the scene should've climaxed with a classic ren & stimpy/spongebob-styled "gross close-up", just to REALLY hammer that point home. It's a huge missed opportunity (out of many) for the production team not to do so. Speaking of R&S, just look at this somewhat similarly structured part of a scene from "Fire Dogs" and how better its payoff is in comparison.

So, if this followed even a base level of scripture or theology, no, military members would not go to hell for the killing of enemy combatants as the natural assumption is that they would kill you and as such you are right in defending your life and the lives of others. However, I don’t assume that Viv is that meticulous or nuanced when it comes to that, so I suspect that she’d default to ‘Military Bad’ and send everyone to hell if they weren’t a hippy that wanted to make love and not war. Side note: considering their hatred for Nazis, I honestly ponder their reasoning for why WW2 was a good war, but every other war is wrong and bad.in hh and hb would military go to hell for murder or would viv actually do something smart and have just the African drug lords and the black water types
I remember other media that's depict it like that and I kinda wonder if that's a result of going of other medias depictions of things instead of looking at the original story they're referencing. Even shit they're pulling from that amounts to biblical fanfic like paradise lost/divine comedy in the first place doesn't fuck that up though so it's like a copy of a copy type of thing where they're likely getting that from some other thing that took inspiration from the things they're yoinking the names and circles and shit from. It's still entertaining how screwed the writing is when returning to the introduction of the Hazbin Hotel series. It shows Adam and Eve partaking from the fruit which gave them "Free will" instead of the original basis of the Knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve had to have already had free will in the first place to even decide to eat the damn fruit.
I remember a lot of people theorizing Sir Pentious was some kind of soldier due to the way he talked and also him wearing a uniform in the finale. So, if this followed even a base level of scripture or theology, no, military members would not go to hell for the killing of enemy combatants as the natural assumption is that they would kill you and as such you are right in defending your life and the lives of others. I'd say it's a case-by-case basis. Someone killing another soldier in self-defense is one thing, but killing civilians is a different story.in hh and hb would military go to hell for murder or would viv actually do something smart and have just the African drug lords and the black water types
It was speculated he was a warlord inventor who worked for the East Indies company. Well, thats out the window with the leaks of him being a shut in hermit inventor.I remember a lot of people theorizing Sir Pentious was some kind of soldier due to the way he talked and also him wearing a uniform in the finale.

Can't wait to see that become not the case.
What about a sniper that killed mostly soldiers who where eating lunch etcI'd say it's a case-by-case basis. Someone killing another soldier in self-defense is one thing, but killing civilians is a different story.
I don't think Viv was thinking about real bird species when she created her.I don't even know what Stella is even supposed to be! Is she a peacock? An eagle? Others said swan (ffs I swear if Viv can't draw a SWAN'S BILL to make it identifiable for shit). I'm sure we assumed she was another owl at first. A secretary bird?
She's Andrealphus' sister. The Andrealphus from The Lesser Key of Solomon actually is a peacock, though the sources I can find state that he can appear as a peacock or a human. Regardless, to give Viv a little credit, making her a peafowl didn't come out of nowhere. How hard was it to keep ONE uniform style of having the goeitas all be based on owls? Could have helped with the idea they're all supposed to be the "stuffy snooty snobbish conformists" of hell that I think she was trying to convey with the ones who aren't vassago and stollas.
This gave me an idea for solders that have committed war crimes when they die they get drafted into heaven and kill sinners to redeem themselvesWhat about a sniper that killed mostly soldiers who where eating lunch etc
That is beyond horrible.I was curious about something, and found a coincidence.
Orphan Time is about dying children and injured puppies. Look at what's on Mister Roger's website:

Why was this short released right as the company reran this monthly episode?
This has got to be a coincidence, right? And not on purpose?

And that some people are genuinely bad people doing bad things, but can still be good behind the scenes of their bad deeds, though that doesn't excuse them. It could show that IMP's job is already bad enough, and they live up to the label of being evil demons, so why should they be bitchy to each other, adding to the stress of their dangerous job? They only have each other and the only people who'll ever truly accept them are other demons like themselves - fellow demons trying to work to survive another hectic day in hell. And the sad part is if she does end up going that route it completely ruins the mood I was getting from the original short. That bad things happen to good people, life sucks, live with it.
A "message" the few honest to goodness fans Viv and co have left really need to hear.
Mr. Wiggles is that healthy.
