Anyone remember a few weeks back someone asked when Jasper would be on stream next? And his response was something like “he’ll be on in 5 days or something? My Theo theory is that Khet is living with maybe a coworker that can’t have animals, and has to drop Jasper off on the days she’s working.

Not like it would matter if he got high quality alcohol. His taste buds are so fucked from sweets, processed garbage and other shit, there’s zero chance we would hear anything other than whiskey being “smoky, tangy, robust, flavorful, aged and kind of haht.”

While DSP isnt technically an alcoholic hes definitely a seasoned pro at drowning his sorrows in booze. I remember last stream he drank on he did some straight shots of liquor (tequila?) and swished it around his mouth. Why pay extra for top shelf when you trained yourself to choke down the cheap shit.

Things that Karen Burnell had 1st world cope sessions about this week:

• Sonic pickle slop item not being on the delivery apps on Day 1 - blames local Sonic restaurants for this

• Bitched about Microsoft on multiple days for laying off people, the same person who complains when a game is too hard/boring/easy/samey/not samey enough/etc, calling them unable to run a successful business (Q3 MS results showed 8% growth in Xbox revenue, Q2 DSPGaming views shows YOY dip in views)
• Bitched about Neil Druckmann because he has a hate boner for him, no reason other than he just hates this person and uses random anecdotes about why he hates him
• Bitched about EA shutting down Anthem, a game he doesn't even play, and whined about game preservation... coming from the same person who hasn't bought a physical game in years

Hilarious that he then chastised people for criticizing life in the US because "you could be in the Middle East, or Russia, or China".

He definitely has an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. We dont have enough information as to whether he is a clinical alcoholic. I lean toward yes he has a highly addictive personality and a huge void of misery for a life. But maybe he doesn't get sloshed on his days off.

if he's already drinking on regular streams (non beg-a-thons), I'm sure he's already close to becoming an alcoholic. only an alcoholic will see a driving sim and think "why not do some drinking and driving".

He admitted that he was drinking back when he was a teenager during that story about him being on a boat (yacht?) owned by the dad of one of his "friends" so he's probably very likely an alcoholic by now. Given that he never mentioned that rich friend again AFAIK, he probably scared the dude off by being a massive flaming homosexual (or the entire story is cap, but I think it's funnier if the story about him drinking booze since he was a teenager is 100% true).

I think alcoholism is the penultimate topic of this thread, second only to depression where alottapeepul say a lot of things but there's a lot of meandering because DSP couldn't possible be an alcoholic because it would absolve him of his sins or there is some strict definition for alcoholism - these same people seem to also think that depression has a strict definition too when it quite similarly vague.

Now I'm ready for a good old fashioned neger sperg post because I know people love them, and if I time this right I can start a sperg fight for DSP's next day off.

Being an "alcoholic" is a very personalized term for lack of a better word. There's many cultures where people drink tons so the benchmark for alcoholism is sort of higher and there are people who think their drinking is way out of control because they have like 2 glasses of wine a night. Then you obviously get people who drink a gallon of vodka every morning and say they have no problem in their life despite their life being in shambles - and then you obviously have the gallon vodka breakfast drinkers who have a happy, loving family and lead a fulfilling and happy life.

"isn't technically an alcoholic" is an interesting way to put it and DSP definitely seems to have learned over time how to ride his hangovers but given WWE champions spending occurs when he is presumably drunk at night and also the fact he is know for 4 AM gintweets/messages I'm leaning more towards him being an alcoholic (which basically just means a problematic relationship with alcohol)

I had questioned in this thread previously whether he was even drinking that much but given the total wine bills (the power bill and the internet bill) and also the KC DM leaks it's pretty clear he's very likely an alcoholic.

There's other interesting and related questions such as whether or not he needs to drink and I'm guessing the answer to that is yes and it seems likely that his drinking definitely impairs other parts of his life negatively. It could probably be strongly argued that he uses alcohol as a coping mechanism to avoid dealing with his problems (which would well and truly make him an alcoholic)

I'm beyond certain that if he ever went to therapy or even a doctor and was remotely honest about how much he drinks and the rest of his life they'd try to get him to at least try to cut back.

I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this before, but I was listening to the WPIG lore stream on the escort saga. It’s incredible that he was 100% innocent, yet if you listened to him waffle around and try to tell his side of the story, you’d swear he was guilty.
