>missing promises
>"THE CONTENT WITHIN THIS VIDEO IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND IMPROVEMENT"
So is it ok when Ubisoft does it? This was a pre-order trailer for the express purpose of collecting money off of people. There are multiple major parts of the game they collected money based off of not present in the game, its not like it was just a graphics downgrade.

It would only be difficult if they want crossplay.
And crossplay between PC and Consoletards is a bigger crime than censorship.
You WILL play with the xbox controller user, you WILL listen to the hispanic on the PS5's entire family yelling while trying to clear out the feminist cult compound, and you WILL enjoy it.

didnt say that

Please enlighten me, how does them saying "THE CONTENT WITHIN THIS VIDEO IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND IMPROVEMENT" have any relevancy.
it means they are saying "you are not getting the shit you are seeing" which means they are intentionally being untrustworthy. do not accept the promises of someone who tells you they have no intention of keeping them.

Every single pre-release game content and even alpha builds have that disclaimer it is a legal thing. While I don't think you should ever pre-order of course everything on release should be examined with the statements they made in previous trailers and teaser content. While they have the legal disclaimer they are clearly stating that "most of this content will be in the game in some form" otherwise they wouldn't say it. Also, saying it is a "game play" trailer implies that this content is already in a functional state in testing and is definitely a higher level of confidence then for example a dev mentioning some feature in an interview.

Wendigoon has a 4 hour video on the lore of ready or not.
for what its worth I think its a noticably more edgy atmosphere than SWAT 4 that not everyone will prefer, thats fine. But I dont see how school shootings, terrorist attacks both foreign/domestic, and Pedophile rings are any less of an "intense" atmosphere, considering you are literally trying to save people from said attacks.

except they didn't, because I've seen this shit in game myself. I fully agree that VOID is an incompetent mess of a studio, I've been following this game since the 2016 reveal trailer, and I haven't forgotten the bullshit surrounding the supporter edition, but they literally put a picture of a head thats been splayed by a shotgun in the latest development update noting that its going to remain in the game, dude.
Only like 8 years after cutting it retard. The original ones are from like 2016/2017. While the blood doesnt look good I loved the brutal split flesh and exposed skull picture from a 2019 build they never released when multiplayer was still a consideration.

Ridiculous. Anyone buying a SWAT team simulator should know what they're getting into. The precinct in game looks like a fortified military base in a foreign country. It's obviously set in some horrific time where horrific things are happening (like right now in LA).
I think this is the real reason, they have always played the "safe edge" card with the game and did so for maketing early on. I'm pretty sure they shilled the game on /pol/ and /v/ early on.

There has been some smaller removal of textures and objects even before the release (that is based on politics). One that I remember clearly was the "redpill" stuff. To no suprise, they pussied out back then... to a Kotaku article (A)! And are now cucking to Snoy.

They are just grifting by being safe edgy and then pulling the plug when they accumulated the player count needed to go mainstream.
edit: nvm, they are just the typical british faggots. glad I didn't buy this.

And crossplay between PC and Consoletards is a bigger crime than censorship.
If I'm not wrong, Left 4 Dead 2 had a censored version released for Australian audiences, and it was cross-play-able to normal L4D uncensored copy players. Having 2 different 'versions' of games that only have different assets, that are still compatible in multiplayer, is not a far-fetched, impossible idea. They probably can't do it cause of pure incompetence.

Inshallah, if we can have Helldivers 2 players chimp out and have a Sony-affiliated dev team give even a few concessions....
Eh, would be nice if it happened, but the chimp out was actually beneficial to Sony in the long run so they had good reason to give in, they basically went "I'm now not selling my game to many other regions because I want to boost PSN numbers", which is a incredibly stupid idea that shareholders would be pissed off at. It's like telling a die-hard capitalist "Hey, let's make less money for no reason".
On the other hand, Void interactive only have everything to gain since PC copies have already been sold for a long time, and getting console releases would make them lots of money.

The contrarian grifting has begun.

First of all, fagstick, it's not a "Military Sim," it's a Police Sim. You saying that it's a Military Sim proves you never played it.

Second, you are dealing with crimes being committed. Of course you're going to see some of the worst behaviors humanity is capable of, because you're putting a stop to it.

Third, your entire argument hinges on the strawman that people are upset by this because they're deranged psychos who enjoy seeing fucked up shit, which is just flat out wrong. They're upset because they were sold a product that refused to pull its punches in the brutality it would depict, and even stood up the yellow journalism trying to paint it as Le ebil right wing copaganda game, and now the artistic vision they were given is being tampered with and VOID is taking the lazy route and making the censorship mandatory for PC players.

Fourth, you say that it's not supposed to be a "PTSD simulator," which is just more proof you never played the game. Quoting right from the Steam store page:
Given the graphic nature of the game and the gritty realism it portrays, the game is for mature audiences. We will also strongly recommend that people who have experienced personal traumatic events from criminal violence, hostage situations or terrorism refrain from playing. At its core, the game honors the work of dedicated law enforcement officers across the world and in no way intends on glorifying cowardly criminal acts.
...So yes, the gritty and brutal realism is part of the intended experience.

Overall, a retarded opinion who deserves to clowned on. I'd say I happily await the YouTube comments tearing your argument to shreds, but it appears you're just a nobody channel with 923 subs and you're just baiting interactions in hopes of riding the YouTube algorithm. Go fuck yourself, you disingenuous faggot.

helldivers is entirely different from VOID being lazy because it involved payment shit that wasn't clear, ultimately sony decided that backing down was the better course and now you don't need a hackedstation plus account to play nerfdivers 2 again.

I gave Wendigoon's video a watch, and fuck me, Neon Tomb struck me hard. The 911 call, the cellphones buzzing on the dance floor, shit genuinely made me shaking and have that sinking feeling in the chest. Thinking about all of the pain and suffering all those people went through. When they were getting gunned down by the terrorist, fleeing in panic. All of their families calling them to check up on them, to make sure they're fine, even though no one will ever pick up that phone ever again. The fact that all of it was based off of real events, that all that was depicted there happened at one point and all of that fictional pain and suffering was actually real. Felt like complete and utter shit after watching it.

I love it.

That's the kind of gut punching moments that I like. Shit that invokes strong emotions. Depicting some of the worst shit that happens in our world and making you face it front and center to witness it's horrors for yourself. The way I felt like shit after going through No Russian in COD:MW2, and playing the role of the active shooter instead of walking it through. The way my heart sunk when I heard Henry's screams in Mafia 2 as he got slaughtered with cleavers in broad daylight. The way the ending cutscenes of Red Asphalt and Rest in Peace in Saints Row 2 hit me like a truck the first time I've seen them and cemented it as one of the greatest games I've ever played. The sort of moments that punch you in the liver, make you drop down on the floor and force you to take in all the pain. After the pain subsides, you can't help but feel good about what you've just went through, as awful as it was.

If anything, fuck VOID Interactive for compromising their work in the name of profit. The world needs more heavy hitting work like this, without bowing down to the pussy ass console players that have to be nannied by their overlords to not get offended. I want to get offended. I demand to get offended. All the media being so sanitized nowadays is the real problem. I want, to feel, like shit.

See, I would agree with you, if the game didnt already pull this shit several times with the college shooting, the angry military guys taking over the hotel or the bday pedo party. Cause of that, this level loses whatever impact it had, you can tell me all you want how this is based on an IRL event or how horrible its supposed to be, it doesnt change that since they pulled this trick before, frankly this level is where I rolled my eyes the most over how many models are repeating, how the map is way too big and looks more like the club from John Wick 1, how the AI still has no chill (which I guess here it least makes mo sense since theyre crazy terrorists), how they send just 5 guys to cover this huge ass club, how the map lacks a 2nd or 3rd entry point.
