Even if this judge holds her ground, I would expect defense to file for a stay of the TRO and any injunction in SCOTUS, as our side has been doing for some time and where we've been fairly successful (causing Justice Jackson to sperg out in hilarious fashion over and over again in her dissents).

I’ll be a little (but only a little) surprised if it even gets to SCOTUS. I’m not going to put it past the first circuit to fuck up on appeal, but IMO the law is pretty settled here regarding Article I spending powers and abortion, even in light of PPFA’s novel first and fifth amendment arguments.
