Colton you're better off defrosting your chicken in the fridge or placing it in a sealed bag and submerging it in water. Cooking the outside is going to negatively impact the taste and texture of the meat. If you're going to defrost in the microwave, I'd suggest making sure the chicken is an even thickness before freezing to avoid uneven thawing that forces you to cook the outside like that. You're going to do what you want of course, but there's some advice for you.

A good well done steak if cooked right doesn't need any sauces. The steak alone is delicious by itself. I don't get where people think I'm eating a tire or shoe leather. Sirlion steak and waygu is the best. Sometimes seasoning is all u need for a juicy steak or none at all.

A good char and grill marks on a steak are also good too. A good sear crust is a must. Never tried dry age but it looks delicious and letting it dry age in various ways looks good and pairs well with many side dishes. Guga Foods on Youtube is how a phenominal steak should be

I can get behind most of this, personally feel like the cut dictates the sauce. I buy a lot of cheaper cuts because I'm stingy and they really benefit from a simple marinade. To properly cook frozen chicken...you do not fuckin put it in the microwave. You fry it up in a pan or a skillet like a normal person with oil. I just love how I'm smarter than my Kiwifarms trolls and get to occasionally owm em. I win.

So are you cooking the chicken from frozen and add more time? Or are you keeping the chicken on low heat in the pan until it thaws, remove it, then cut and cook it in your whisky sauce? The former seems like it would cause the chicken to cook unevenly, the latter seems a little dangerous to me.
