Perhaps Drunk Narrator himself keeps forgetting.
You don't know how bad it is. The Narrator would have to be drunk, on drugs and retarded.Only first few pages make sense: Woggy and Froggy talk about their adventures and Woggy's need for a romantic companion. On his way home Woggy meets Lovebug who takes him to interdimensional garden and from there to insect kingdom where they meet the princess. Then for the first 30 pages Woggy and the princess are randomly teleporting between three locations (interdimensional garden, insect kingdom garden, statue garden and royal palace) while Woggy is creeping on the princess while some other characters either encourage him or discourage him because she's already engaged to prince Windsor. Then they stumble upon a war meeting and we learn that some colonies are rebelling. Then Woggy decides that he'll win her over if he negotiates peace. They go meet with an ambassador of the enemy faction and Woggy says "war is bad", but the ambassador is unconvinced to Woggy gives up leaves. Then the princess takes Woggy on a tour and shows him a hospital and a nursery while Woggy is still creeping on her.
Then suddenly they are on a scientific expedition looking for Lost City of Insects. It just jump-cuts from kingdom tour to the expedition. They meet professor Cricket and find some ancient cave drawings that explain the origins of Insect Kingdom and a map to the Ancient City.
Another jump-cut and they are in a laboratory where they discover how to communicate with arachnids and show their findings to the king.
Another jump-cut and they are in a library, where they find some ancient treaty. They rush to the king.
Library - laboratory - king sequence repeats several times, sometimes just copy-pasted, sometimes the king is receptive, sometimes he's not; sometimes guards block them, sometimes not; sometimes Windsor advocates for war, sometimes he's not present.
After 30 pages of this absolute chaos, the king finally agrees to seek peaceful solution. When he does, the princess says that she wants to dump Windsor and marry Woggy and the king agrees (without another 30 pages of nonsense).
Woggy and the princess are married in Genoma. Sylvie (now adult) and Frogman are present. Everybody sucks Woggy's dick and say how great he is.
There is little space for 50ft tall fire-breathing bug and romance between Woggy and Froggy here and way too much laboratory\library repetitions. Those issues must be remedied (laboratory stuff goes, scene in the library takes place much sooner and we explore Lost City with prince and princess; I sure hope there isn't any giant mecha-bug that breathes fire there).
