If I talk to businessmen I'll ask about their payment system just out of curiosity, as "field research," and I have never once heard a positive or even neutral response. They all sigh and get aggravated just thinking about the bullshit they go through to keep their shit together.

I asked a close small business friend and some acquaintances in varying size businesses that are owners or part owners and they all had nearly the same thing to say. They ALL switched at some point from one to another because one was too high and are still highly unsatisfied with the new one. One got a payout as part of a class action suit for excessive, illegal fees and the rest are in more lawsuits over the same thing from the rest. One of them ranted at me for like 10 minutes and I think it made him feel better to talk with somebody who knew at least a little about the issue. I felt bad the whole time considering all his hard earned money was going to some disgusting entity.

That one isn't even a small business, they're legit big in dollars and per the legal definition, and still claim they are treated like shit and can't even get customer service when shit goes wrong and get no financial consideration or kickbacks but keep getting threatened any time they try anything that doesn't Fee-Max for the processor.
