It’s just not fair man it’s just not fucking fair
It may or may not make you feel better, but Mald will live the rest of his life being a miserable sack of excrement, because he is missing vital pieces that most humans are born with.
Accepting failure as a natural part of our lives is vital to developing humility and empathy. These things help us understand our own, and other's, limitations and boundaries in life, and helps us to set reasonable goals with the hope of accomplishing those goals and being fulfilled. Its also one of the fundamental ways we, as properly functioning individuals, bond with one another.
All that to say that Mald has no fond memories of other people to look back on, he has moments where he accomplished something and nothing else. If anyone aside from him happened to be there during those times, they were an extra to his starring role.
Your father is gone, and you will miss him till the day you die, but Mald has no one to miss, and no memories to ease his suffering. He is eternally damned to a worthless existence with a fractured identity, and every abusive display from him is a feeble attempt to fill the cracks in his psyche with glue, and those efforts are always a failure.
He lives in a special hell that he won't ever escape.
Better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all, as they say.
