He wasn't debanked cause of Keffals, he was debanked long ago because someone bought stolen credit cards on TOR and used them to donate to the site when donations opened. Even though he noticed they were fraud, reported it and refunded those donations.

Ah shit, that wasn't around the beginning of the Keffals/Near suicide fiasco?

Fug, I've got my KF timelines all mixed up
I suppose it still kind of works at least in terms of seethe potential (if I had less control over my urges to cow-tip by posting it of course)

I probably could've just made that one lord of the rings meme & it would've also achieved the same effect tbf

Also my (non porn) mod for oblivion remastered does not appear in search even when typing in the exact title or Oblivion Remastered into the search bar - its the one that changes it from Body Type 1 or Body Type 2 to Female / Male. I can still access the page with a direct link.
are you telling me that women who are given power to ban legally allowable porn won't stop there and will use their influence to ban other things that women hate like legally allowable political wrongthink?

The payment processors need to get raped with legislature
And when they don't? Will you continue to bash crypto when those in power don't force legacy fiat payment processors to budge?

You've been conditioned to associate cryptocurrency, the only proven alternative to the old systems, with scams ("99.9%" being an exaggerated figure based on what you read in the news). Even if the true figure was 80% scams—which it isn't—you have to open your mind to the real possibility that The Good Guys won't just win this one.

When there's an alternative to capitalist-fueled censorship, you should consider it, present scams and all. (And that's without even bringing anonymity into the fray, what I previously considered to be the best strength of crypto. We're accelerating pretty fast, huh?)

False. Look at the NFT bullshit happening in the Philippines with Axie Infinity. There is real life proof and the fears are not unfounded.

Entire countries are reduced into further poverty by crypto. It will make the games themselves unaffordable, and the companies will shut down.

You will lose everything and you will be happy before you can make a cent with crypto. Better off spending your time making EU think that it's not worth enforcing against pink colored pixels like with the red ones.

Also who tells you that lesser Japanese companies (e.g. the ones behind Senran Kagura) will accept cryptocurrency? They'll shut down like the company that made Harvester before it happens.

I think I'm gonna say the obious but I want to say this: We're beyond the slippery slope, this is frantic freefall. The hags behind this discovered a life-ruining lifehack that was first tested on Kiwifarms and alttech websites. I doubt they're gonna stop there,
considering debanking is fair game now in 2025.
I'm just worried that they're gonna switch to "boiling the frog" strategy instead where noone does anything.

I don't associate it with scams, I just associate it with being essentially useless for 98% of day-to-day life. Additionally, I still have to provide the exchanges at least 20 forms of ID and a DNA sample in order to convert said crypto into usable assets that said 98% of the world accepts.

Same thing as steam removing smut, all of the porn games have been removed from itch.io.
Even things you paid for are straight up gone, you cannot redownload it.
(I don't pay for porn but people made threads about it on /v/, and its not like /v/ to make shit up to complain about.)

This is why people need to start treating every platform as ephemeral.

Even if money changes hands and they call the transaction "buying", you're really just paying a fee to access their servers for a temporary-but-unspecified amount of time. Unless you receive a physical object or a file that you subsequently copy to a thumb drive or SD card or whatever, you did not really buy it.

(That's actually why I used itch.io: I got an installer file I could save a backup of.)

Crypto is 99.9% used for scamming. It is speculative bullshit fake money with no protections at all.
Yes you can make a similar argument about fiat, but there are some mechanisms that are there to protect you. None with crypto.
Other than math. If you trust the government more than math you are literally a mongoloid gorilla ape nigger level of full retard.

It's never going to replace fiat because it doesn't serve the same purposes, but to pretend that it's somehow less trustworthy than any government on the planet is dumb fuck shit.

Somewhere around 0.00% of the normie world uses crypto.

Everyone who thinks that censorship should be enacted by unaccountable financial institutions should be shot and killed.
Are you gonna shoot and kill Lidl from your website?

I was ambivalent about this whole thing since I despise gooners and trannies, but fuck it I'm playing ball. Going to talk about this to everyone in my immediate family and friendgroup, and try and get as many people as I can to write a letter. Something about feeder leader being blackpilled makes me viscerally mati

Remember Null's wager:

You're fuckedYou're not fucked
You lose hopeYou're fuckedYou're fucked because you don't try
You have hopeYou're fuckedYou win

Other than the point on #778, with fiat at the VERY least your money has some form of secured value. 100 USD is not gonna equal 1 RMB anytime soon. With crypto you don't. That 1M per 1 coin can become under 5 cents worth of USD in a day.

Do not fall into the trap the NFT bros did. It's not government propaganda, go ask someone in Philippines who has played Axie Infinity during the covid era.

Not really. Only the amount the government gives it. If the Fed goes apeshit too much even the dollar turns into utter garbage overnight.

The reason it's so prevalent in scams is the nonrepudiability. With fiat other than paper cash, there's almost always a mechanism of reversing fraudulent transactions. With crypto there isn't. Hence, people who want to receive transactions profiting from frauds love it, and the suckers can't get it back.

Crypto has value precisely because once you receive it, you have it. That doesn't mean you're guaranteed any price above market value, which also makes it good for pump and dump.

The most broadly adopted coins like BTC are more or less immune to this in the long term. The short term may be more cruel.
