2025-07-25 - OFCOM: "Ofcom engagement - Availability of KiwiFarms in UK"

Sorry for the double-post, but evidence to my theory of Null not doing the funny yesterday because Ofcom couldn't be arsed gets a little more evidence because Ofcom opened up 4 simultaneous investigations into 4 other non-compliant entities this morning and so never got back to him as a consequence (unless they do so later today).
Baiting Null into putting into a bunch of effort into a "fuck you" post and then not even bothering to read it would be the only funny thing Ofcom could do in this situation.

Keep in mind, most of the investigations Ofcom opened up in June, most notably 4chan, have still yet to conclude.

exactly what are the lines between jokes and fedposting about conquest of foreign nations?
no bullshit the UK government lining up a HELL of a collection of enemies, and their own forces look more feckless by the minute

Honestly - non Americans being banned from 4chan would be one of the most wonderful things to happen.

Do it gookmoot. The few wayward Japs can stay but all other foreigners must raus
Ofcom didn't know where to send the email requesting action and so it just got routed to a spam filter.

And as far as I can tell there's also no way for contact Hiroshimoot directly via email.
It's entirely possible he has no idea this is going on lmao. A quick scan of his twitter shows no indication of such. No remarks regarding Ofcom, mostly just Japanese politics shit, if he comments on politics at all. The last time he mentioned 4chan was in April, during soyjack's hack.

Not following up after giving him a deadline would also be funny, since Null expended the effort for no reason, but also because Ofcom would be doing the equivalent of this:

Absolutely rofl at the thought that impotent uk glowniggers are actively monitoring the forum frothing at the thought of citizens accessing muh ebul nazi site. The more closed and oppressive the Internet becomes, the more morally justified we all are to say: NIGGERS TONGUE MY ANUS to every single dictatorial narcissist faggot that pushes these sorts of policies.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he just ignored them even if he did know. The Euros and Australians have always been some of the most disruptive users even back when Moot ran the site and they only recently got outdone by the SEAs and pajeets. I also don't think they really buy passes so there's not much incentive to spend money on age verification to keep them around.

In other news, I don't think anyone has posted about Ofcom's senior management team, yet?
These are the people the UK has put in charge of censoring the Internet.
Might do a deep dive tomorrow idk.

EDIT: They also provide links to high resolution photos. Do as you will with that information.

Weird. Anyway, here's a local archive of these high resolution photos of the OFCOM senior management team.

Quaecumque occurrunt, archiva.

Archive.is doesn't want to archive the page for some reason, but archive.org has a snapshot (for whatever that's worth).

Still the only episode of Black Mirror I've ever watched.
It's probably the roughest episode and it was a bold/stupid choice for them to make it the pilot. I imagine it probably turned off a lot of people that would have otherwise enjoyed the series. It gets better, the second episode being one of the best in my opinion.

I have no idea why the UK government likes pissing in the pool so much. Do they have any self-awareness just how far outside of their jurisdiction they are? If they want to further nannystate their citizens, they need to stop shifting the burden to foreign nationals and do it themselves

-nannystate-
If they want to be an effective nannystate they need to protect their goddamn citizens from belligerents.
Instead they turn the belligerents into a protected class and use the states resource against the common citizen when they speak out.

The people are doomed unless they get their shit together and rid themselves of the filth that infest their political machine.

I didn't know my jobs HR worked for OFCOM.

Why does he have Fairy washing-up liquid in the bathroom? That's amazingly the weirdest thing about this photo.
Washing cups with it? I have one in there so I can wash my drinking glass without having to walk to the kitchen on the other side of the house. Don't you have glasses you use in your bedroom or upstairs office and refill from the bathroom tap?

Yes, but I just walk them downstairs to the kitchen and wash them up.

It doesn't necessarily need to have been committed while physically in Britain if it caused effects there, e.g. hacking MI5. It might not actually work.
Well yeah. That’s the exception, not the rule though. There’s a slight difference between getting shipped off for hacking a foreign country’s intelligence agency, and getting shipped off for calling Starmer a dumb nigger.

For instance, we tried to extradite that British autist Gary McKinnon who hacked almost 100 U.S. military systems including NASA in a search for UFO data. They found he would be mistreated as an autist in U.S. prison so they refused to extradite.
the US figured that being born autistic and British was enough of a punishment for him
