No way in hell this happened. I can believe the kid cutting one of the pig tails off the pig, but the family just laughing about it is bullshit.
Even only HALFWAY decent parents know that is not appropriate behavior to encourage.
In fact, I'm guessing at least a good 50% of these "tales of interactions with the dreaded 'crotch goblins'" are either completely exaggerated, or just plain false.
I mean I'm trying to put myself in their place, but if I did, the only thing I would be able to complain about is something like " I was walking in the mall the other day and I heard some kid screaming in the food court. FUCKING BREEDERS!"

Also, I have a really hard time imagining someone getting worked up over a complete stranger not having kids. I understand that people who don't want kids get shit, but it's usually from well-meaning relatives, friends, and acquaintances. People who don't know you don't really give a shit about what life experiences you're missing out on.

There's a lot of good things about having kids and there's a lot of good things about not having kids. So do whatever you want.
My main problem with these people isn't their overreactions to being in the presence of a child (although that shit is ridiculous), but more that they act like they're so god damn persecuted. Yeah, it gets obnoxious to hear the "you should have kids!" all the time, but these people act like anyone who doesn't want to have children is literally a worthless piece of shit in the eyes of society and that's not true. Hell, it's considerably less true in 2017 than it has ever been in history, childfree lifestyles are considerably more accepted than they would be even as recently as the 80s.
