I have been trying to visualize the drive back from the hospital. You know what helps anxiety? Your partner bitching the whole ride home about the bill, the hospital staff, how your problem ended his shitty podcast, and telling you if this ever happens again your not allowed to go to the hospital. Then he either tells you he is going to tell this story to strangers or he just tells the story without asking.

Also breaking news Phil made a nurse go get a sandwich FOR PHIL. I am guessing he "pounded the fuck" out of the staff and that is why they treated him like crap.

Exactly, I am sure it was him endlessly bitching about the wait and the bill. I am sure he didn't inquire once about how she was feeling. And did he seriously suggest the paramedics give leanna medication in the bus and send her on her way? Does this retard even know how hospitals work? You know, for someone with "back issues" and "gout" he sure doesnt know how an ER works. Anyone can tell you an ER will bring over finanacial docs because the hospital has to get paid somehow and dont want you skipping out without giving them any information. I love how for Phil that's annoying but yet if the money was for PHils benefit he would be shoving papers in anyones face without a thought. Also, ER's are there to get you stable and get you out or if not get you in a room upstairs if you need longer term care/surgery. They need to free those beds as soon as possible for emergencies of a greater variety. She was low priority. @Batman VS Tony Danza is right shes lucky she got in a bed that long honestly.
I love how he is only protective of her when it comes down to money. Had nothing to do with her, she better pray she's never really really sick and needs longer term care because this gout boy is not ever gonna help her.

Nah, he would have made up some bullshit that he won the fight or Jaha chickened out. Chances are, they have never met Phil in person...so him showing up disheveled, freaking out more about his car than anything else, being a complete dick head, its all their very first impression of him other than knowing he is dating/living with a rather immature and sheltered and much younger woman.

Every single woman Leanna knows just had their maternal instinct kicked in. Every single person Leanna knows and works with fucking detests Phil now. Everyday, they are going to be working to get her away from him. I'm willing to bet a number of them are now taking the time to look up her "internet famous" boyfriend...

It's a hospital gown. They put you in one even if you're only there for an hour or two. They have no way of knowing what sort of care you'll need, so they prepare for the worst.

my two cents:

1) I've gone to the hospital for panic attacks before. it's fucking embarrassing. You go in thinking that, ya know, you're dying of something (hypochondria can be mighty creative), tests get run, the doctor says you're fine, you get some lorazopram or whatever it's called and leave, feeling like an idiot. the last thing you need is someone else making you feel worse, especially someone who's supposed to love you. unless everyone who Leanna knows is as dumb as phil, her friends and colleagues will probably have the same idea and be pretty livid with Phil's response.

2) I wouldn't be surprised if he plans to pay for the hospital visit with this vlog. more time, more drama, more money. He either explained this to Leanna before or he plans on doing it if she actually confronts him and that's gonna be the story. phil would never give up an opportunity to make a dollar.

i'm not sure. this seems like business as usual gone slightly wrong. i wouldn't be surprised if he talked her out of going to the hospital for her other panic attacks because of the price tag. it's only fitting that he'd bitch about it if she actually went. I imagine he is acting exactly as she expected him to. the qusetion is whether she's changed/grown enough herself to have it suddenly be a problem for her. for that we can only hope that the influence of friends has convinced her to be more critical of phil.
