Mega Rad Gun Thread

Gave in and admitted my elderly eyes do better with a red dot (even with my bullshit astigmatism). Getting the little sisters of this one done by Nameless Armament. Will let you all know how that goes.

Yes, it's an Apex trigger. I'm a huge fan of those for M&Ps. I recommend their installation if your factory trigger pull is spongy or longer/heavier than you want.

Nothing close to what you'll get from a race gun trigger but it functions as a superb service weapon trigger.

Califags get your Black Friday/Cyber Monday lists in order, you may be turbo-fucked come Jan 1st. (Ca AB1263)
Would like to give a bulletpoint list of how many "firearm accessories" are about to be basically DOA for online sales in Cali, but a bit busy at work at the moment. Interested to see @Club Sandwich's take.

SSP90

what guns can I use to obtain this physique?

SSPS90*

I really really wanted to get a PS90 until I actually handled it. The charging "nub" ruined it for me. The ergonomics were great otherwise.

I will probably get one eventually because its still a cool gun but I'm still set on the Vector for now (and whos folding charging handle is vastly superior).
It’s a cool gun and I probably would’ve ended up with one years ago, but I only had access to indoor ranges then and none of them will let you shoot it. Also, the price of ammo is ridiculous for them.

Hello Everyone, this isn't going to be a typical AGPinochet post because this one is special.
I imagine its based on barrel length.
20 in vs 16 is actually less loud, so if the bullpup had a 20" barrel while the AR had a 16, that could be it.

My 10.5 is noticeably more loud than my 16" carbine, lmao.
My assumption is that they're comparing A full size AUG to a carbine/mid length gas AR with a 16" (or 14.5 with a P&W). meaning that while the barrel is closer to you the actual blast pressure is drastically reduced at the muzzle.
Yeah, the only thing I could think of is that the barrel lengths or muzzle devices were different hence my comment about it being unscientific lol.

I am also annoyed they listed it as BULLPUP and posted a picture of an AUG and yet I wouldn't be surprised at all if they used something totally different.
The guy who wrote the article has made come comments on Reddit that potentially sheds some light on this mystery
Screenshot_20251104-155948.png

The AR of unstated barrel length or gas system had a Warcomp but he isn't exactly sure if the Bullpup (confirmed to be an AUG with a flash under) readings are accurate

Obviously gun grabbers are going to try and use this to further their agenda but I can't even begin to speculate as to their specific angle of attack. "We have to ban all guns because some people shoot themselves literally retarded" is nonviable, even for them. Maybe demanding that ranges have to provide suppressors at their own expense but they have to be government approved models that need to undergo an expensive testing and approval regimen?

Another thing, potentially extremely bad news. Those mohammedans that got rolled up by the feds for trying to do a little Jihad on Halloween? One of them had an FRT, a rarebreed FRT. Is DOJ going to chimp and wipe their asses with the settlement?

Virginia might also want to get their favorite high magazine guns.

I can see FRTs and SSs getting a version of the Glock switch treatment in the near future. At my previously mentioned indoor range I've noticed an uptick in fully-semi-auto devices and its not just fellow friendly autists. Once a few cops get killed with FRT equipped firearms the police departments, unions, and AGs will turn their gaze and crack down. Libs already have laws/rules on the books relating to them(see the recent DC arrest).

Sidenote this is why I hate the argument for a "common use" standard for deregulation. Novel items like FRTs should be as free as "common" items like suppressors should be, that is not regulated at all.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Under Northam, there were all sorts of California-tier bills that would have neutered AR-15s. They were postponed because Northam became extremely unpopular due to his blackface/Klan costume shenanigans.

pretty much anything not a receiver, frame, barrel, or "assault weapon feature" is an accessory. while it's not likely to be enforced against screws, pins, springs, sights/scopes, tools - it was largely discussed as pertaining to parts that make functional firearms from kits or repair/replacement parts for the same (gas tube not so much, but a barrel or pistol/vertical grip sure as those are explicitly called out). various efforts to dove tail this into 3d printed receivers (so parts kits containing mentioned parts/accessories) will also be affected as well as magazine parts, or even compliance parts.

Sounds unenforceable.
Past time to become ungovernable.

Ah yes, more of the same. Totally unenforceable (or unenforced) laws that are ignored by criminals as a matter of course, and which restrict law abiding citizens.

It's standard magazines, ackshually.

Is it gay and retarded to open carry in duty holsters with level 2 retention?
I don't think it's gay and retarded but I'm not a fan of open carry in general public areas. If you decide you want to go that way and especially if you suspect you may be moving quickly/running at any point, for sure use at least level 2 retention.
