They thrive off of legal weed too. There is cartel activity in the forests of California, weed smuggling out of legal states, and dispensaries owned by cartels all over the place pushing out non-cartel shops.

I don't have much of an opinion one way or the other (have lived in states where it's legal, have lived in states where it's not, spent a few years doing it a fair amount, a few years partaking once a month, and now none at all) and wouldn't care if it's outlawed (it's illegal in my current state anyway) but this is the same logic for legalizing prostitution.

That having it illegal encourages sex trafficking. Except that in places where it was legalized, sex trafficking went up - not down.

If something is profitable, criminals will exploit it. Whether it's drugs, sex, or gambling. Whether it's legal or not. The only thing legalizing it does is let them hide their criminal exploitation behind a veil of "legal" behavior.

If you still want it legalized, fine, but this argument is an extremely flimsy one and just doesn't work the way you think it does in reality.
I feel this is a problem separate from weed legalization and instead an issue of California being completely incapable and unwilling to actually enforce the law. I recall several stories of both licit and illicit weed farms in California having massive hordes of illegal labour. With how soft on crime California id imagine they just don't want to deal with the cartels setting up roots in the US and risk deporting the illegal labours and jailing the sicarios running the show.
I mean really how often is the city up your ass over an unkempt lawn or an out of code carport. Id chalk it all up to anarcho tyranny

The problem is a lot of school systems do not have any funding for special education
Complete crap. Our schools have money out the ass (we spend more per child on education than any other country) and 25% of public school funds go to SPED. Maybe things have changed since trump ii, but in those Bush years until 2024 SPED was flush to the gills. They send the lil retards around with their own personal wranglers ffs. Thats one full time salary per tard on top of everything else.

But let's just say your argument is true and we don't have SPED programs. Then Alex should have been pulled out of school completely. If one child is causing the other 29 to not learn, they shouldn't be in the class room. It wasn't just our recess taken away, but lessons were completely derailed because some hyper active 10 year old liked to scream HUR DUR BOOBIES at the top of his lungs while javelin throwing pencils into the bulletin board.

my point isn't about if weed should or shouldn't be legal

the reality is it was for the past seven years, and in The GOP Clean Spending Bill That Doesn't Change Anything (one of the only gop messaging successes) was hidden a measure to outlaw it
from anything I've seen this kicks in JUST around midterms next year

whether or not stinky weed makes individuals sad personally is irrelevant
this is not going to go over well with anybody that the GOP just killed thousands of employing, tax paying, businesses , and they hid it in the "clean" bill only makes it that much worse for them
If you have a real hemp business it won’t effect you, if you make gray market gas station weed yes you will be screwed over but boo hoo, Mabye don’t built a business around a oversight loophole in a law

This doesn’t affect hemp for medical, industrial or food purposes. Nor does it effect actual legal maijuana If you care about it being legal you should understand the gray market shit needs to be regulated or gotten rid of

That story is great cause it also shows that the teacher created a scenario (either willing or unwillingly) where the rest of the class take the discipline of Alex into their own hands, aka Full Metal Jacket style because she couldn't/wouldn't do it. In effect teaching kids they need to take matters into their own hands cause Authority won't do it.
This makes sense if school is more about teaching you to just suck it up and accept your surroundings and never question authority or try to change anything. Either the kids take matters into their own hands or they become good little bug people to merely fill a tax slot in society via learned helplessness. The students can't change or do anything, the teachers can't, the administration can't, and it's no wonder we have a society of people who refuse to take even personal responsibility, let alone responsibility for anything hard.

This is the real reason private schools exist.

You don’t spend the extra money for a necessarily better teacher. You spend the extra money for better peers and an expulsion system.

I DO NIGGA

It was fucking legal since like 2017 and caused a handful of issues,
I get not liking it (I don't), but got forbid a nigga take an edible and watch 2001 a space odyssey.
This addition was straight up tacked on and funded by big pharma because they got into the Medical Weed game.
you are quite literally munching the ass of big pharma and saying thank you for tacking this shit on.
The addition of it shows how little you fucking matter, they could prioritize ANYTHING but they won't for YOU, because to them you don't matter.
I 100% get not liking it, but agin we pretty much made weed legal almost the entire country and nothing happened.

i quit smoking because of the stupid farm bill
all of my regular smoker friends leveled up and started doing retarded shit like dabs or 100mg gummies and i was just not into that shit.

i also keep running into retards on the highway who are just high out of their minds.
when i flew to visit my parents and my mom picked me up from the airport, the lady in the car next to ours had passed out and her car smelled like a gravity bong.

all i wanted was for it to be easy to just buy joints and smoke them before a concert.
instead our ers are now filled with retards with CHS
they don't believe the doctors that the pot smoke causes the vomiting because "pot fixes nausea dude"
it's fucking irritating

The guy who ran the Seattle racket, Roy Olmstead, was famous because he kept violence to a minimum.
I briefly looked him up:
A former lieutenant in the Seattle Police Department, he initiated alcohol smuggling from Canada while still serving in the department. After his arrest for this offense, he was dismissed from law enforcement and pursued the illegal importation and distribution of alcohol as a full-time and lucrative endeavor.
:story:

You used to be able to just do things in this country

Popular opinion: special kids should mine coal and we shouldn't waste a dime on their education except basic math and literacy.

One of the best reasons to put yourself in Honors / AP level classes, you didn't have to deal with these people slowing everything down. Of course, progressives don't want these classes to exist.

Weed is nowhere near as bad as alcohol but it's basically socially like a cigarette: please go 50 feet in a direction away from me. I am trying to smell like fresh fabric and apples.
Anhedonia(reduced ability to experience pleasure), Amotivation, and eventual apathy are the shared result of both weed and alcohol. The difference is alcohol makes you sick and damages your kidneys far before that happens. Most people who had a drinking problem have mild anhedonia, but it becomes pretty severe among long-time users of marijuana.

That's why they need to smoke more, they become unmotivated in daily life, and often default towards risky behaviors like getting cross faded or sexual perversions; because the Anhedonia has gotten thoroughly out of hand. They think they're just depressed or anxious but Marijuana doesn't cause depression directly, only the symptoms of it.

And that's why, although Marijuana won't make your hands shake and cause other common tropes of addiction - many people like Joe Rogan find it difficult to stop for longer than a week, because of anhedonia. They don't feel baseline normal without marijuana, and struggle to verbalize why.

I've seen people recover from chronic alcoholism. I have not seen the same from those who engaged in daily marijuana use for multiple years. I have a cousin who's probably sitting in his parent's garage right now still smoking as he did at 17 so now at 27.

Marijuana is as bad as alcohol given enough time. If not worse. The marijuana apathy hits the baseline way harder and people fail to identify it so they keep smoking and assume its just their life that sucks. If people were fully educated on both marijuana and alcohol, then you could say Alcohol is worse.

AI will never replace mining coal and coal will never go out of utility.

Or better yet, put them in farms. Give them housing, little community and Holy shit you got yourself a self regulating retard colony who are contributing to the society and you don't have to import million beaners.

Yes but you see there are these things called black people, their children are high energy and lack discipline, by removing the feral black child from the class room things can be run much better, then the family gets together and sues the school because it looks like systamitically all the black kids are getting kicked for being screaming monkeys.

If they can stop for a week, they can pretty much stop forever. The big issue is the first few days after they stop, because they constantly get cravings and impulses to go use weed, for the pleasure-seeking reasons you laid out well. I've seen people get over chronic weed use permanently and it often involves moving, taking a vacation, or in some way radically changing their environment and being busy for at least a week or two.

I did some digging into the names of one of the emails I'm seeing being spred around.

Kathy Ruemmler is an attorney who worked under Obama's white house counsel.
Why are people who worked for the Obama admin talking about the details of legality and the potentially to impeach a sitting U.S president with Epstein?
