Shots rang out in Minneapolis early Saturday after federal police tried to subdue a man who was waving around a gun, according to law enforcement sources and video posted to social media.

A 39-second clip showed about half a dozen cops struggling with someone on the sidewalk in front of a donut shop at 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue, when the gunfire erupted.

The officers appeared to scatter after the barrage of shots went off, according to the footage.

The shooting happened after the man brandished a firearm with two magazines, a law enforcement source told The Post, sharing a photo of the firearm.

In a statement, city officials urged residents to stay calm and avoid the area.

“We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave. We are working to confirm additional details,” the statement said.

More than 100 protesters had been at the scene when the encounter occurred. The man’s condition was not immediately known.

On Friday, protesters yelled obscenities at two people wearing plain clothes who they believed to be agents after protesters claimed their rental car was linked to the incident, according to video reviewed by The Post.

Neither person was an officer.

Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) posted about the incident on X late morning Saturday as the details of the shooting were still unfolding.

“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” he wrote.

“The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”

Neither the White House or the Department of Homeland Security have said what precipitated the shooting, and did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Despite what the Post says about the protestor's condition, Fox News is reporting he died. Spiciness inbound.

This is allegedly a pic before the shooting but who knows with AI and all anymore could be a fake to counter the waving a gun allegations

Still not a nigger.
That's really going to piss off the libtards who have already started making their celebratory "politically poignant" banners.

Why the fuck was he waving a gun around
Main Protagonist Syndrome.

These people think they're the actual heroes of the story, possessed of plot armor, and can't be killed no matter what they do because then the story would end suddenly in the middle, and that can't be right.

Can't wait for the "But how did they know the bullets were coming their way, didn't they see the way the gun was pointed?!" special pleading..... or maybe "but bullets aren't dangerous, look, you can hold them in your hands all day and nothing happens!" ?

"Armed protestors" are fair game. Another dumbfuck theater kid took himself out of the gene pool. No nauseatingly feel-good hashtags for him, though. That's only for dead dykes.

I love how they literally learned nothing from Renee Good and just keep going after police officers. Let's consider this 2% payment for Charlie Kirk. What are we at now, 6%?

It's been well established at this point that a lot of these ICE agents are undertrained, trigger happy or both. Genuinely retarded to approach them and not expect to have this be a potential outcome. ''Wowie Zowie! I didn't think there would be consequences for LARPing as a revolutionary!''

I hate to burst your bubble but if you draw down on the most well-trained law enforcement officer in the world he is also going to perforate your chest cavity until you stop moving.

I understand that this guy seemingly pulled a weapon. But he also got in the officer's face with his camera first and started talking to him. Once again, all of this would have been avoided if he just didn't try to film for social media clicks and ass pats.

This polite fiction that doing everything possible to antagonize the cops without actually touching them is protected speech really needs to be strangled.

Do we have better angles yet? It's hard to come to too many conclusions until we know the provocation and whether than man pulled a weapon

If that ICE agent is black he just became the black kyle Rittenhouse. Local Blacks are already getting pissed; anti-ICE whites and Latinos are messing with the neighborhoods. Black ICE will be a local hero. White Karens keep calling Black ICE agents race traitors.

Just let the brownshirts do what they want. If you're objecting to them and protesting their presence, they might conclude you're a Volksfeind and be forced to execute you in the street.

At this point all I think we have to go on is the audio, which sure sounds like he started firing before the cops did. Contra the whole "Trump's gestapo" thing, I really find it hard to believe ICE just shot this guy when they had him down on the ground purely for being a pain in the ass.

ICE and CBP both had about 20,000 agents (CBP has an additional ~30,000 at ports of entry and along the border) prior to the current hiring drive. Several tens of thousands of veteran agents. So why would they send rookies on these operations? Muh undertrained lol shut up faggots, these are all veteran agents btfoing commie fucks and rousting bulbheads
