Oh boy. I guess I can tell what the general vibe of the video is going to be.
She loves Styx. She hates Tarl. She is in love with a persona and even when men and women realize that they loved someone who never existed, it can take awhile for that fog to truly lift. It happens often that men and women allow themselves to be reeled back into the rotation a couple of times before they finally break the cycle by removing themselves entirely.
Some people never do and they become “flying monkeys” for the narcissist. I don’t think Tarl has that kind of power over anyone permanently not even Nikki but who knows? She may be the first flying monkey who ALWAYS goes back. She has that part of her personality that likes to be submissive and doesn’t seem to be too turned off by being treated like a doormat.
Some people are just that broken and will never recover because they don’t really want to. If this is the case with Nikki then yes, she will go back if he lets her, but I can promise her that he won’t unless he is tolbus desperados and she has something he wants or needs. (Alcohol/shelter) It will never be for her. It will be for the things he can extract from her.
Hopefully, in the mean time she manages to get a grip and when/if he does get desperate enough to slink back into her life, she’ll rebuff and slam the door on him forever, but it is going to take a lot of will and tremendous work to overcome this part of herself that is clearly self-destructive.
Ultimately, there is something deeply wrong with a woman who lets a man come at her most private parts with dirty fingers and doesn’t immediately recoil and hit the ejection button on that whole situation. For all her “I love myself” posturing, she truly devalues herself to such a degree that she has let a filthy low value hobo like Tarl actually touch her not just physically but intellectually and emotionally. So, it’s possible that she will be by his side when he finally drinks himself to death after everyone else has smartened up and abandoned him ….. if he lets her. Sad.
I hope she snaps out of it. I hope she gets even by living better than he ever has or ever will. Either way, I’m here for it because it’s truly fascinating and I’m secretly hoping she goes full bunny boiler because that would be exactly what Tarl deserves. And I would find that hil-a-rious.
