A lot of transwomen seem to hate transmen for whatever hypocritical reason, so I suspect the term "transmisogyny" came about so they could claim their struggle are totally different from those of transmen. What they would once have called transphobia, they now call transmisogyny, specifically to exclude transmen.
I think, and this is just pure conjecture, it's that the idea of some random woman makes a better man than they ever were hits too close to home with them. They also choose to "give up" being "delicate and feminine" women in favor of being a brute male, something that also causes a bit of dissonance for them.

Considering the last time he had anything to do with McCain he got a talking to from the authorities and the fact he's slow-in-da-mind, he's still probably a bit gunshy.
